Svarik subconsciously retreated a step, feeling too exposed, but also drawn towards the deity. But he regained his presence of mind almost immediately because of the gravity of the situation. "Please, my Lord," he whispered, carefully giving Eros the poisoned needle, "he needs an antidote..."

Perhaps in another circumstances, Eros would prolong the conversation, as he seemed to like seeing Svarik, as one does when unexpectedly meeting an old friend, but this was indeed an emergency, so he only smiled softly, and took it. He looked at it closely, his eyes narrowing carefully as he was turning it in his bare hands.
After a moment, Being looked up at them thoughtfully.

" This is a grave matter indeed...  It surely is a work of a master of its craft. My alchemy supplies are at Third City, I would have to go there to have all I need, but it would take too much time. Little Senecio doesn't have it. But there is a quicker way, if all of you agree. " He encompassed them with serious look, as he suggested quietly. " Easiest way... is for me to prick my finger and experience it  I can quicken the spread and work of the poison, and create antibodies to it in my blood. " He paused, as such things were jot light gifts among Beings. " Currently, his own blood is poisoned, and the body is getting more damaged as we speak as it keeps spreading the toxicity. The heart could not clean it enough even with antidote, not quickly enough. But if I give him around quarter of my  immunized blood to exchange some of the worst of his own, then, his immune system should be strong enough to deal with this ... "

"Tide?" Svarik turned to the demon. "I don't know enough about Being biology to judge all risks and there's no time for such explanations. Do you agree with such a way?"

Tide was occupied with keeping actor's heart working and breathing oxygen into his lungs, to keep the body fresh. As he couldn't speak, he glanced at Hans for help, and Spirit murmured a reply slowly.

" I would have to go to ask Janus to borrow me one of his syringes to take the blood from one to the other, but..  it could actually work. "  Spirit said, turning to Svarik for his opinion. " Eros is universal donor, he can adjust his inner biology to be reflection compatible with any person. He gave blood to me and Tide both at occasions. "
" I often make antidotes by poisoning myself and then taking out some of my blood to distill it into a drinkable serum. " Being elaborated. " But time is crucial here. "
" So biggest question is do we have right to decide this for Senecio, a choice between faster and less invasive. " Hans explained briskly, not wasting time in his words " Quarter of Being blood given to a human is a lot... Especially from a personification. It will rub of on him, and we don't know for how long. Anything can happen, including nothing. He may grow able to feel emotions of others around him, hear the fabric of the world, be able to read feelings and intentions with a touch, to feel echoes of despair and pain of people around him, or whatever mutant mixed version of Eros's power.... or he may just, like, feel rather chill and high on joy for a while, until presence wears off. Same effects happen when injecting blood as would if eating any part of a Being by human. Question is if it's worth risking what will it be... I hate making choice like that for someone else...  "

Svarik grimaced with the dilemma. "Both ways can have permanent effects. The slower one might leave him crippled even if it's not too late. I would rather risk permanent effects that might not necessarily be negative. What do you think, Conrad? You became a Listener that way..."

" As a human, let ne choose, then." Falcon replied seriously, not skipping a beat." We are not speaking of choice I had, this is a choice that can literally bring him from the dead. What kind of live would await him, if he woke up with damaged brain, heart or mind if we wait too long? He won't thank us if ge can't move or act anymore. I am all in for the blood option, nothing that a Being blood could do to him compares to being paralyzed till the end of life. He wouldn't be happy like that.  What's the worst that can happen? I see sounds as floaty colours. Would beat being brain damaged any day. "

Svarik nodded. "It's not certain that the damage would progress that fast, but yes, there's not a small chance of that." He looked at Eros. "Do it, please."

" Do not be scared, please. Chemicals can not kill a chemical. I will be unharmed, so focus on your friend, " Being said softly, as if to reassure them, before he sat down before the actor. After Hans stood up to ask Janus for Suringze, he smiled with relief, and not waiting a moment, he stuck the needle deep into his thumb, gritting his teeth lightly, with pale, composed gaze, as if he tried not to trouble them by revealing anything more. He kept the needle stuck in his finger, to get as much of remaining poison in it, accelerating the effects it had on his body by tenfolds, to develop resistance to it as quickly as possible.

He could feel the effects fast that way: the blurred vision because of dilated pupils, the increased skin sensitivity and waves of heat and cold, rising fever and pain. The pain was increasing steadily, soon reaching levels almost unbearable to humans.

For a Being so sensitive to emotions, that always sow reflections of everyone, it was still a terrible pain, but strangely, it didn't seem upset, only its hands trembling a little under it. His face seemed rather grieved, instead, as he watched Senecio's corpse, while he could still see it, before the poisons effects blinded him too.

Everyone around him felt conflicted watching him in pain. It seemed like a background side effect of his power, for people that are in his presence to perceive him as a mix of everyone that loved them and made them feel safe, as his presence was reflection of everyone that loved them. For Conrad, it was as if seeing Svarik injured, for Svarik, it was as if it was sir Falcon, evening his breath before him, so he would not upset him with revealing how much it really hurt.

Creature must had known they would be taking the sight personally, and perhaps that's why it, instead of gritting its teeth, it kept its pale face composed, and spoke softly to them, reassuring them with an incomplete sentense here and there that there is nothing to worry about, like explaining insecure children everything will be alright, all while exalarating speed of the poison to border of its ability to tolerate it.

Svarik couldn't bear the sight still, and knowing he can't helped there, he focused on monitoring Senecio. "Slow down his heart..." he told Tide. "The blood is poisoned and increasing the damage. We need to find a compromise between delivering the oxygen and poison..."

Tide, who didn't know as much about this as human healer could didn't oppose, trusting Svarik. He tried his best to adjust the speed so the least amount of damage could be continued while still keeping the flow of blood and air going.

Soon, Hans returned, this time coming by foot, as it would have been too much to carry something material through fabric gain. His step was frail and unsteady, but determined, and he had shown two syringes he borrowed, in design the same as the one Malachite borrowed to Death. Blood still dripped from his ears, but stopped from the nose, as his state seemed to stabilize a little. He sat down on the other side of Senecio, ready to help when needed.

And that came soon, as the personification did its best to create resistance as quickly as possible. But a moments after, Eros said they should prepare, as he will soon be ready. Conrad insisted he takes one syringe as his hands were the steadiest.
" Since we have Tide, it will be easiest if one person is constantly removing my blood, and one is constantly removing Senecio's, in the same pace, so that Tide can bend my blood directly to him. " Eros suggested tamely. " As quickly as we make exchange, quicker Senecio's body will have healthy antibodies to work with. "

Svarik took the second syringe and prepared to draw Senecio's blood so that he could monitor him while doing so, motioning to Conrad to prepare to do the same with Eros.

Tide moved at a side, so he wouldn't be in the day. After Eros nodded that he is ready, demon nodded with determination too, indicating they can start.
Conrad nodded, and after Eros extended his arm to him, he quickly drew blood from the Vein on his arm, finding it easily and filling surynge. Tide focused all if his power and mind to do this, knowing this is test for him above all - and while Conrad kept taking out Eros's blood, and Svarik kept taking out Senecio's, he was bending the blood to the actor, healthy one, bright, almost magenta colored blood of Being exchanging the ill blood full of poison.

Senecio's heart was not beating fast enough for that now, making the flow of blood too slow. "Faster now," Svarik urged Tide, "follow my rhythm..." he said and started nodding his head in the pace he found best for the heart to beat in.

Sweat was dropping down Tide's blow, as he was holding Senecio's face and breathing oxygen into ut, controlling the heart and bending the blood in the same time, all with the dread of knowing he is handling the corpse  He entrusted the choice to Svarik in this situation, trusting him fully and adjusting the speed of the heartbeat  according to his instructions.

Svarik's face was tense as well as he focused on so many things at once so he could find the best pace. "That should be it," he said finally. "A quarter of his blood. Should we wait now for it to start acting or do I try to repair what I can from the damage right away?" he asked Eros.

Eros's face was pale, and he seemed fainter, but there was comfort in his sure, soft look.
" It begins acting as soon as it gets in the body. My blood is strong. " He whispered. " But still, it will take couple of minutes. You are weary, little one. Do not waste your power just yet. " He suggested." Let us work together, shall we?" He slowly stood up with Conrad's help, and came closer." For now, just close the puncture wounds from needless, dearie, we stabbed him one too many times. I can stabilize the hormones in his body while the poison is washed away..."

"Those are not fatal," Svarik murmured. "I don't have much strength for healing left... I'd rather focus on the damage in his heart and lungs."
"Hurry," Death said suddenly. "Human souls are not meant to be held like this for long. I can't do much while I'm holding it, but I'll be able to help you with the healing when it's back... The fatal damage needs to be healed first though, otherwise I can't return it into the body."

" It would be best if outside traces were gone. This is going to be very emotional for him to see. . I very much hope ge doesn't develop fears of needles next. It would be pity   " Being replied with regret as it sat down, as it seemed its trait of thoughts regarding those things was less linear. Still, he obeyed, knowing the soul is outside of body for indeed too long. Gently, he laid his palm over Senecio's chest, and suddenly, it glowed bright magenta in colour, and Svarik could see within the body how suddenly, chemicals produced by Senecio's body were no longer drenched in adrenalin, but began stabilizing towards healthy balance, as if by an order of higher force.

" I can do as much," he told Svarik quietly as his hand kept glowing. " Brain is responding to me well, it is fortunate. I will make sure body responds to this more elegantly. You may direct your spells here, here, and here..  at those points... " He had shown him most damaged places with precision of one who knows what materials he needs for healthy body, adding sadly." Liver should be first, then. It has been through lot in last minutes of his life. "

Svarik nodded. "Speaking of outside traces, could you get rid of the blood in some discreet way?" he asked Conrad while already focuding on the damage to the liver. His spell carefully repaired the tissue that almost felt like it was burnt. He did not repair all of it, though, just so much that it was possible to live with the remaining damage, before he moved to the other organs, determined to only heal the lethal damage in the first round and then spend his remaining energy on what's left. He was already reaching deep into his reserves while still healing that damage that would make it impossible to live, his hands shaking and the sharp healing spell leaving cuts like from razors.

While Conrad brought the bucket and helped Hans wash up his face as much as it was possible, and then to clean the bloody floor and syringes, Eros put his whole heart into helping Svarik, guiding him, and after everything he would do, guiding hormones to normalise the functions of the body as much as it was possible - he even sent a light encouraging sygnal for liver to regenerate its damage a little bit.
He watched Svarik's cuts sadly with grief. Under his look, meadow king was aware creature is aware of all his feelings, and that it hurts him that he is in pain, but precisely for that, it couldn't bring itself to stop him in his strong intent. Hans was growing restless and frustrated at himself watching it, though.
" Is there nothing more we can do?" He whispered, to no one in particular.

Svarik didn't seem to hear him, focused on squeezing the last drops of his power to heal the body enough so it would be able to accept the soul. He knew there was nobody else who could do it while Death was holding the soul and all they did would be for nothing if he doesn't manage to stop the body fron dying before the soul is returned to it. Blood was dripping from his hands, making a mess again just after Conrad cleaned up. He did all he could, hoping it would be enough as he collapsed atop Senecio.

Conrad caught him by the shoulder before he fell. Leaning him against his shoulders, he looked at his hand. Hans stepped to him, and reaching from his bag, he wordlessly offered Falcon bandages and helped him clean and wrap Svarik's hands, least he could do.

In meantime, for the first time directly addressing Death, Eros turned to the masked creature, his hand still glowing as he was working with Tide to keep the body stable.
" Can you work with this? " he asked him quietly.

"I can try," Death sighed. "It depends on the soul. The body is viable, but it might be too traumatic for it to stay inside. You might try to talk to it, anchor it in. Ready?" he looked at Tide.
