That brought a timid little smile on Tide's face. He did not kiss him this time, as if he didn't feel he was able to bring himself to do it yet, but he remained close to him, and caressed his face anew.

" I didn't know hunger ever since We became I...  But when I am with you, I feel this primordial pull, that reminds me of it... A deep posessive tick that makes me want you, selfishly much... " He whispered vulnerably." Seine... I feel... I feel like I have to tell you... Despite I helped save you, you know you can always leave me if you stop loving me, right? It is a right thing to reaffirm... But could we please not? Not right now... I am not strong enough... " He whispered, and embraced him from a side. " You are an amazing actor. Just... Just tonight, okay?" His voice was but a soft passionate whisper by his ear. " Just tonight, tell me you will love me forever and will never lose interest in me. Just tonight, call me your Pearl more times than you can count, and tell me romantic things, like that time you said I am mysterious like the sea... "

"Not like that," Senecio said. "I want to do that and I want you to know it's not acting. I want you to know that I really mean it when I say that my love to you is undying... uh... sorry, that wasn't meant as a pun."

The demon snorted a little at that.
" I know... It's a pretty good pun, though. I see Hans's tendency to deal with dark events with humour is strong in you, too. "he leaned a little as if he were trying to bring himself to kiss him, but in the last moment, he stopped and closed his eyes, just not able to bring himself to do it, shuddering lightly. " My love for you... is undying as well. I will just need a bit of time... to get over the dying part. Don't be disappointed in me, please, " he opened his eyes again and offered hesitantly. " What can I do to show it? I can't do everything, but we can compromise. For, example, I can still dry you up real nice, and wrap in in a warmed blanket like a glorified pancake... that's a token of love I'd be comfortable giving right now... but it depends what you feel like right now... I want an honest reply, then, not acted one, like you promised... "

"A glorified pancake?" Senecio chuckled. "That sounds like a nice light role... roll... dammit, are bad puns one of those possible side effects you mentioned?"

" I don't think so. Eros, what is the verdict? Is my boyfriend naturally hilarious or is this your influence? " Tide snickered a little at last, as the pun about the roll of pancake, a nice tasty food, seemed to fit his taste much better than a pun about dying. From their corner of the pool, shrugged his hands helplessly.
" I never had an affinity to puns, with all language changes," he said innocently, although, in his gentle straightforwardness, trying to mix in an honest reply among the tease. " Well, I do have a very strong connection to love, so side effects on you may end up bound in some strange unexpected way to something you love, so...technically possible highly unlikely side effect? If you really love making bad puns, your affinity to find joy in something you love may increase, so... " he grinned. " It may be the worst or best possible side effect, depending on how you look at it, sir Tide... "

"I don't know, I can't say I'd be that fond of them," Senecio said. "I guess we can write that one off as a side effect of being high on the intoxicating presence of my boyfriend... ugh. Intoxicating. I swear I'm not doing it on purpose."

"No," Death spoke, although until then he was quiet. "But it's on your mind. The poison, the dying... the need to deal with it somehow. And laughing makes it less scary."

Eros, who could read the room, but not Death, looked hesitantly in his direction, before turning back to the actor.
" Your guest... is right," he admitted, bewildered. " But you need not think too much about it. It is not in your nature to overthink things that upset you right away, without belittling them first. Let yourself feel as you feel. Your mind is dealing with it at its own pace. Let things flow naturally. And, I know no one is asking, but if it up for a vote, " he replied tenderly, with a warmth of the sun in his smile. " I think a light roll of a sweet pancake would look good on you... "
" I happened to have packed a blue blanket with that soft texture you like most, " Hans, who was listening quietly, chipped in, leaning quietly on the edge of the pool, waving away more nonchalantly, much more like he commonly would, despite Death's heavy words that weighted the atmosphere. " Totally not because I conducted a survey which blanket texture you seem to find most comfortable or something - just a bare coincidence. I merely packed it as one was an additional item to possibly spoil you with, in case Tide is too busy after play and all, and so I can congratulate myself with how astonishingly well prepared I am for any possible situation... " he finished the sentence with a bit of self-deprecating sarcasm.

Senecio's mind was still a bit erratic, jumping around, sometimes avoiding the scary thing in the middle, sometimes jumping right into it and then quickly out again. "Blue..." he murmured. "I forgot the blue rose there!"

" Easy... We left it with Janus, remember?" Hans reminded him with care. " It's not the end of the world... We can pick it up after the ball, or you can take it in the morning if you prefer so... Janus would want to talk with you for a little bit anyway. "

"Oh, okay," Senecio calmed with that. "In that case, I'm ready to be a pancake. "And I think I'm up to eating something, too. Maybe just a bit of bread."

" Oh, it seems Tide mostly brought sweets and cookies before, so I can.. " Hans began, but Eros gently put his finger on Spirit's lip, like to a petulant child.
" Hush hush... No, dear. You rest up, and take care of the blanket, okay? I'll go to bring some refreshments for little Senecio." he said, and he gracefully stood up from the pull and skipped between the layers to do so.

Hans rolled his eyes, but since he already left, he focused on his own task - he reached for his bag that was at the side of the pull, and carefully took out a blanket, handing it to Tide - Senecio could indeed see it was an expensive, delicate fibre of a texture he enjoyed.

"Sorry," Senecio murmured to Hans. "I don't feel like eating something with intense taste yet. You seriously took a blanket for me? What else did you take?"

The question brought a little faint smile on Hans's face, frail, but sincere. He leaned head on his hands at the edge of the pool, looking at them quietly while Tide was carefully helping the actor get out.
" Oh, curious, aren't we? " he said innocently. " Come on, you know I have an endless bag, and that I held it as the high possibility that Tide would be pretty busy with his guest to dedicate enough time to you - so I promised I'm all yours tonight, didn't I? I packed, like, as close to everything as it can get. " he shrugged with a tease. " Even packed that one expensive vintage wine you liked that one time, you know, in case playing Death gets you too depressed and you want to chill for a bit. However, since I already gave you a painkiller, I am not approving of that mix, but I can give it to you some other day. I also packed an unreasonable amount of different sweets... I ended giving up most of the food options to Eros, though, when he was giving nutrients to Svarik, though... Most of the things are unused, though, random example, I packed a better quality hairbrush, so we don't have to use those pesky average quality ones when getting ready for the ball. And a jar of shells, in case you want to share a snack with Janus or Tide. And a picnic basket and cloth in case you feel like having a distance for a while before the ball. And nail clipper in case somebody beaks their nails, and... mm, yes, I may have overpacked in every sense of the word... "

" Good thing I can't pack living entities, though, or I would pack you. You are handiest to have around and, honestly, too hard to handle left to your own devices. " Hans teased.
" He will be hand-less when I am done with him. " Tide proclaimed, not really getting focus on hands or what was said, but wanting to participate with a food pun, explaining proudly." Pancakes don't have hands, and I can handle one nice pancake just fine, frying pan or not..."
As he spoke, Tide helped Senecio get out, as he held him, drying him with his power, so he had no time to get cold. He laid the soft  blanket on the bed, and then, innocently laid the actor as 'filling', after placing a pillow under his head so he would be comfortable, wrapping him up and tucking him in, so that he resembled a fluffy delicious pancake in lot Indeed, warm and safe from all sides.

Senecio sighed contentedly. "One thing about being hand-less, though," he winked. "You'll have to feed me..."

" You say it like it is negative. It's the most positive side of the pancakeness. " Demon said tenderly. " Next to warming up the pancake, that is. We have to make sure filling doesn't grow cold, you know... " with that, he gently caressed Senecio's hair, and with a gesture, he began warming the blanket so it remains pleasantly toasty, while they waited, until Eros returned.

Being was back soon, with a tray with couple slices of type of bread Senecio liked, and he also took the freedom to pick some other foods that were good for an upset stomach - a plate of warm rice, a little bowl of applesauce, a mug of plain yoghurt, and a bowl of mashed sweet potatoes, still steaming.
" Tide loves to share food, and stress eats too, so I figured its worth a try, " personification of love explained itself with an embarrassed timid expression. " So if you don't feel like eating it, I figured you'll still love having something to share with him, sweet little Pancake... "

"Thank you," Senecio nodded. "I'll just try a bit of bread first?"

(OOC: Oh, that's great! I don't receive notifications anymore, so I didn't notice, thanks for telling me, I'll check it out! <3 )

Eros sat at the edge of the pool, after handing the tray to Tide.
Being took it diligently, and picked up the bread first. He tore down the little piece of it, and fed it to the actor, and continued feeding it to him, patiently tearing off little pieces comfortable to nibble.

His stomach settled a bit with the slow bites of bread and so Senecio dared to try the sweet potatoes as well. Then he rested for a while. "If you un-pancake me," he murmured then, "I think I'm ready to do a little test with standing up."

" You're driving a high bargain... I don't feel like un-pancaking you for at least, seven to ten hours... "Tide teased. " But I would be relieved to see standing around, so... Let's do this... " Demon agreed, and after carefully unwrapping him, he shyly helped him to carefully take the first few steps.

Senecio leant on Tide at first. He was still a bit weak and shaky on his feet, but the biggest issue was the discrepancy between what he felt and what he remembered. His body and soul remembered dying and had a hard time dealing with the fact that they seem to be rather fine, even if weaker and more unbalanced than usual.

Tide supported him from behind, making sure he doesn't fall. He was patient, but his look grew concerned with the reactions of Senecio's body, which didn't seem to be one he would expect with common weakness.

" I've never had a case of a human soul returning to the body after such a long time... do you think it can maybe... make you forget some innate things, like how it feels to walk? Some Beings forget some things like walking or breathing properly if they have been damaged in certain ways... " he was clearly concerned, trying to interpret it in a way that made sense to him. " Do you? Want me to water bend your body to help you walk? Maybe you can get better at walking if we get it to remember how it feels like to walk properly... "

" So it doesn't hurt or feels numb, either? So probably nerves aren't damaged, either, " Tide suggested hopefully. " Maybe it's hard to do... because you focus on it and feel more self-conscious about it? How about we change the focus of the game? " he whispered, and slowly, instead of supporting him from behind, turning his position, so that he faced him from the front, putting one arm on his waist, and with a light bow offering him his free hand courteously, as he leaned to him. " How could we possibly dance on the ball if we don't practice a bit? Dance with me as awkwardly as you can and don't worry about it, " he dared him, though his eyes shone with worry. " If you get better by the end of it, you can get a reward... something Being-like and dramatic, hm... you can ask me for a favour of your liking. How does that sound? "
