Hans watched him quietly for a moment, and his mouth opened up a little on its own as he started to see the scene more clearly.
" I think you are onto something. Let's see.." he spoke slowly, as if trying to catch some elusive thought. " If it was writing in a book... I would not say Demon already knew his friend fell and became Spirit. During war, they got seperated, and not knowing of his friend 's demise, we see demon, searching and searching for him, as war unravels, desparate to unite anew. Then, as war lasts, demon gets ambushed in a big, terryfying battle. It is represented through eyes of the demon. His comrades are overwhelmed, and he is fighting for bare life with Spirit opponent who wears an armor. He lands a hit, and he feels thriumph, and rush of adrenaline and hope, brought on by terror and desire to survive... His opponent falls for a moment, only lightly wounded, but his mask falls off, and demon recognized him as his friend. But he sees it is Spirit now, reborn, and remembers nothing of their deep love.... it is a soul of his friend, but not his friend, only blank sheet. Suddenly, nothing matters to him, anymore. His life no longer has purpose, with love of his life not remebering him, raising hand at him, and he even hurt him and will kill him by his own hand. He falls to his knees, in total defeat and loss of hope. He bids Spirit friend to kil him, for there is nothing left for him, and memories are too big burden to bear... They both die, and Death heals them, and to heal them fully - erases all their memories. Only with full oblivion - they can be free from burden of their pain - but at cost of their selves. Death reflects upon it. You find right words." he smiled hoarsely, as he added with what was suposed to be a joke, but felt too real." As their memories fade, everything fades to black. Curtains fall."
