Lipka leant her head thoughtfully. "Yes, that sounds less like what I imagined and more like it quite sucks. We should do something about that, to make it more like what I imagined for both of us. I think my problem is that you are so useful and skilled, and know so much. I can learn things, but it's just more effort spent on me where there are already so many people who know all of that better, including yourself. I know what I would like to do as a Queen, but it's my own work, not something I can help Svarik with, so I was a bit jealous of your skills. But it seems they don’t give you much of an advantage either, so I don’t really know what to ask from you. How do you imagine your atonement for this situation?"

Svarik was getting a bit uncomfortable talking about the vampures as if they weren’t there. "I was thinking where you would fit best," he said. "I really like the idea of Simbel's personal guard, something like the White eagles were. If someone of you is tired of being a guard and a soldier, I think there are jobs you can do in the garden, too. But as guards, you will need the best weapons and armour, and Alpha can provide you with clothes that would serve well as armour. Can I trust you with Simbel's protection?"

"It really feels unpredictable in what the hell we are actually doing, but predictable in knowing that I can trust you in it," Senecio nodded. "It's at least a bit predictable with the characters, because at least we know what *they* are doing. I really can't wait for the next chapter for them... Let's call Hans do that we can pass the time until then better, shall we?"
