Creature, in its freedom, casually sat down at the bottom part of the bed, leaning back lazily.
" Oh, well, my face looks sort of strange with regular makeup - my eyes are too bright for makeup to stand out, and I doubt you have a black foundation for my skin tone, " he said bemusedly, flashing his eyes, with bright playfulness ( https://literarymagpie.tumblr.com/image/185064626224 ) " I am not sure if something can be tastefully done about it, but I am all in for a matching game - so how about we wear matching jewellery? I see we have a lot of silver-blue-violet theme going on, so should we have silver jewellery with violet and blue stones? " like in a magic trick, the creature dramatically snapped his fingers, and on its outstretched palm, numerous rings and pendants started to appear, graciously overflowing from the side and spilling on the blanket, creating the pile. " There's a special limited offer on the cutest one from my collection today, so why don't we match with that first? "
" You are just saying that because you want to decorate us with sparkling things, we are on to you, " Hans snorted a little bit, with a gentler, shier note this time, and a touch more vulnerable flavour of feelings, reflecting his definitely positive but more ambiguous relationship with Alpha.

"Well I'm not one to say no to sparkly things," Senecio chuckled. "But about the makeup, you are right I probably wouldn't be able to do something tasteful wiyh it right now, but given some time, I'm sure I could come up with something. Would you like me to?"

" My, it does sound quite tempting, so, why not? But only when you are absolutely bored. It should be a casual way to fill the time, not a tedious chore. I know the challenge to do something about this unusual tridimensional thing is huge, " the creature said with playful adoration, watching Senecio with same warmth one may gaze at something extremely cute. " As of now, let us focus on what we can match easily, that is, clothes and trinkets. This is my private collection that fits the silver-purple-blue criteria, so come here, you adorable lot, " he said gracefully, pointing at the pile of treasure that no king would be ashamed to boast with. " Pick and borrow whatever and however much you like. Senecio does not have that much quality jewellery, it's a crime since he is way too cute not to have a tasteful pile, and he fills the criteria of *the shiniest in the land*, so he gets to keep whatever shiny trifles he picks. It is my return for your lovely effort for my hypothetically possible future makeup, and there are no returns. Get it, sugar? "

"It will be an interesting challenge and an occassion to buy some unusual rare ingredients," Senecio said, already thinking about it. "Could I look closely on your skin? Maybe touch it? Through a cloth if you want, I don't want to overstep, just need to feel the texture..."

" Oh, my, with your level of curiosity, I was surprised you're only asking now, " Being chuckled, without any negative change in his feelings, rather, appearing curious as well. " It's not like you asked me to make out right here in the front of Hans, you're just a regular cutie pie full on wonder, so what's there for me to frown upon? " Alpha asked, standing up, only to come closer, sitting next to Senecio, and leaning forth with permission. " Just a heads up so you don't freak out, of course! Technically, your mind probably perceives some kind of subconscious expressions, but normally, I have a definitive lack of mouth and nose, so be prepared. Oh, you can touch my eyes too, I technically don't really have human eyeballs or eyelids either. I am more going for vaguely human shaped than a humanoid concept on this one. "

The creature was still, letting him explore without fear. Despite he was nonchalant about it, it was a clear sign of trust from his side, as he wouldn't just allow any random curious person that he didn't like to touch him like that. It felt as if this soft trustful feeling was reflected in his skin. The texture of his face was unusual, very smooth, without bumps, like porcelain. Fit for the skin of a Star, it was warm to the touch, and the warmth felt soothing and inviting, and with it, the skin felt a little like a smooth stone on the beach would be under the summer sun. But at the same time, there was a sense that physics worked a little differently for this seemingly smooth unmoving face, as, while Senecio was touching his cheek, he could undeniably feel a grin forming - he could feel it and perceive its existence with his mind and with his hand, the skin underneath it moving within the shape of the smile, but his eyes sow no difference. There was no mouth nor nose on the face he could see, but when he passed along the place where he felt the lips would be, Alpha breathed out a little, and there was undeniably air upon his fingertips, and the actor's mind felt like there undeniably was a mouth there, even though his eyes were telling him otherwise.

It was a strange, but interesting experience, as, from closer look and touch, instead of a human form like Tide's or Hans's, this form rather felt like a moving interactive sculpture of a human. The touch of this form seemed closest to shapeshifter nature from what Senecio has seen so far, as it felt like it was a clay that could arrange itself however it wanted to, but that simply preferred to arrange itself in the human shape. The human-shaped creature of the light was leaned trustfully against his hand, and the touch of his skin, warm and brimming with the feeling of summer, felt really pleasant.

Senecio explored the texture, fascinated by it. "Very interesting," he murmured and slowly withdrew his hand. "That will really have to be a rather unusual makeup."

" Oh, yes, indeed! Did I mention I am stretchy if I feel like it?" Alpha asked bemusedly, as he brought a finger to his own face, and pushed into it, making a hole in it as one would if they pushed into soft sand, even making similar rustling sound. " Pretty cool, right? "

" I would not really describe it as cool,"  Tide, who waited patiently for examination so far, chuckled heartily. " It is more like a lovely scorching black dessert sand! Actually, Alpha is the synonym for warmth, and he even gives the warmest hugs, you know, Senecio, so be mindful of that in the future!"

" I would rather you say that I give coolest hugs," Alpha jested, mischievously and brightly." But seriously, sugar, you don't need to sell Senecio on joys of hugging me. He is too adorable, I am totally going to use the chance when he makes me some makeup to hug him and pinch his adorable little cheeks, it's just a matter of time!"

"Okay," Senecio chuckled. "It will be fun to come up with something you can use as makeup. For now, though..." he looked at the heap of jewelry, "I think I'll take this set of earrings and bracelets."

Tide and Hans picked rings and pendants in the colours that matched their makeup best, and in the end, from leftover jewellery, Alpha also pitched six rings, one for each of his hands, and a large tasteful pendant to go around his neck.
"Hmm.. I don't feel like I match just enough... Oh, wait, I do have an idea! " he proclaimed, and he snapped his fingers, and at that moment, the golden highlights on his black clothes suddenly changed colour and texture, becoming silver, and more glittery and a lovely blue embroidery of blue abstract swirls appeared along the rims of his cloak. " How it is, ha? " he turned to the group, sounding rather pleased with himself, as this seemed finally a satisfying level of matching, even though he couldn't use makeup." Isn't my level of control over my clothes cool or what? "
" No, it's hot, " Hans commented flirting. " I feel we are quite ready, alright. Where should we go first, then? Should we talk with Svarik and Falcon now that they are still in the mansion, or are we risking and going to unwind a little with some overzealous shopping first? "

"Didn't we want to have breakfast first?" Senecio noted with a grin. "And I'd vote for going to talk to the king first, so that we don't have to think about it while indulging in overzealous shopping."

" Making plans over breakfast is the best, though, " Alpha chimed in as others sat down too, freely taking a slice of cheese and bread, and bringing it toward his face. There was no appearance of chewing, but the bite-sized portion of it disappeared into thin air. " The overzealous shopping sounds like a great plan, though! I've really missed you a mischievous lot, so I'd like to help you out. I can store anything you feel like in a pocket dimension, so you don't have to carry or wait for delivery on anything, and I can just bring whatever you buy straight to the mansion, how does that sound? I'll do it for you guys in exchange for letting me tag along. " he winked. " You just both worried me way too much, I should keep an eye on you for a bit, shouldn't I? "
" You worried about us and missed us... " Hans commented thoughtfully while taking a bite from his sandwich. " Has... it been a long time? "
" Oh, yeah, way too long, " Alpha shrugged, and Senecio could understand a little bit of this specific kind of warmth, that had a slight undertone of ache - a warmth coming from missing someone. " I actually planned to just distract myself for two human days, but both Svarik and Falcon came to me, wanting me to make clothes as a surprise gift for the other, and it was just too adorable that I couldn't say no, but orders were really demanding in scope, so I had to stretch my time quite a bit for them. "
" How long time passed for you? "
" Oh, that's a professional secret, " Alpha grinned. " But it was long enough, and I spend all that time worrying about you pair of troublemakers, so, just saying, if you want to overuse my kindness in exchange for dragging me along, I want to tell you it's a perfect time for that! I promise I will be very agreeable! "

" Oh, furniture? I don't particularly like making it, since it's boring skill, that's too passive for my liking. It fits Janus more. But you know, just hypothetically, you could ask me to make a new deal with you," Alpha chipped in playfully as he ate, as free and mischievous as ever. " If you offer me something fun in enchange, I can easily enchant the furniture you buy. It's easier to enchant relatively static objects, after all, so it should be a piece of cake. "

" You can always think of it as making props for the life of Senecio di Parvaio," Alpha winked." And, I can do whatever I can for clothes and do it to furniture as well. I can weave sunlight or waves into plain wood, or anything else, and make it look unique. But if I use right materials from Beings I cooperate with, I can weave in some cool enchantments. I can not weave pocket dimensions into it like Janus, but I can make parts of it, or whole of it invisible, so you can have a cool hidden compartment only you know of, ha? Or I can make it really petty addition, and have a drawer enchanted so that only you can open it, and that it breaks fingers of someone that tries to open it by force?" He said innocently." On less exciting note, I could also throw in simple enchantments on your wardrobe to have your clothes well preserved, and always kept fresh with your favourite scent lingering on them? Tide's sewing room is enchanted so that it is clear of dust and microlife, so that materials and clothes he makes last longer. Basically I am a Star with specialty on bending rules of matter and time, I can figure out a lot, as long as it's fun..."

"That wardrobe sounds useful, but isn't it a bit redundant with the room enchantment?" Senecio asked. "I think I would rather take the bedsheets than a trapped drawer, I don’t even know what I'd put in it that would be worth breaking someone’s fingers over..."

" I don't know... how about putting it in a theatre, without putting anything inside? " Apha's heart didn't skip a bit, as he spoke with an innocent cold hint of malice, a little dush of apparent grudge toward theatre fit for a primordial Creature, easily seen in his eyes and feeling. None of it was directed to Senecio, though. He spoke to him with obvious favouritism as he shrugged. " Well, as long as you know it's something I can do it is just alright, sugar. If it is bedsheets, I'm going to make you bedsheets worthy of your adorableness. Do you want to discuss what you want now while we eat, or later when you feel like it? In any case, make sure to eat plenty, and I'll consider rewarding you with an appropriate level of enchantments. "

"Well, the motive is a bit obvious," Senecio smiled a bit as he spoke between bites. "Night sky... because making bedsheets with day sky just doesn’t make sense. Properties seem obvious as well... falling asleep easily, good sleep, good dreams and so on... also remaining clean and fresh. I don't know what else you could want from bedsheets... maybe waking up in time when you need it."

" All other features seem like a good choice, only waking up when you need to sounds a bit too ambiguous to be useful. You aren't going to be waking in same time, anyway. Rather, how about asking Janus to make you a clock with ability to ring to notify you by ringing sound at a time you decide? I am terrible with time, so I have such a clock," Being explained." Then, what about thickness and texture? I can make it of softness and fluffiness of a cloud. And what about comfort? I can make it warm by itself and soothing to the touch, and I can weave many soothing and calming enchantments, like I did for those gray clothes you asked for. Would that be agreeable, sugar?"

" I would need to collaborate with Janus on that, but it is technically possible. We colaborated on many insane systems inside the house, after all. We just need to come up with appropriate set of actions. " Alpha explained." Of course, we should discuss with Janus what he would accept for payment, because it is more complex and hard to make than simple mechanical clock. It can be done, though, of course, if it's two of us. How did you exactly imagine being woken up? What way works best for you? We can not ethically give any consciousness to blankets and such, but we can program certain actions by rune embroidery concealed underneath. Do you want to be uncovered when time is right, so you wake up by that? Or should we have blankets move left from right, to shake you a bit into waking up? It all depends how much of a light or heavy sleeper you are...."

"I'm not a heavy sleeper, I just go to sleep too late usually. But I don't feel tired sooner and then the night doesn’t seem long enough to get a decent sleep... hey, I just got an idea! But honestly, it might be very hard to make, and in that case I don't want it that badly to make it worth that... just something that would be nifty if it's not too hard to make, which it probaby is. But, to the point. It just seems to me like my natural day would be longer than the one we get. And you have control over how quickly time flies, right? How hard would it be to sneak an extra hour or so into the bedsheets?"

Re: Senecio adn Tide II

VisAnastasis

Alpha looked at him more seriously this time. There wasn't anger or discomfort over the sheer scope of his request, but there was a deep intensity to his look, one that no doubt felt fit for an observant gaze of a six-dimensional being.
" It is not about the heaviness of request... Rather, about the ethics of messing with people's biological time, " he spoke slowly as if to make sure he explains the situation properly. " If you sleep improperly for a long time, you will damage your body. So, technically, if I stretch your natural time so that you will always get one extra hour when you sleep, for example, six instead of five, or eight instead of seven, it will be good for your body. Since it is sleeping time, I would be willing to work with Janus, to make you a pendant or ring that, when you wear it, your sleep would extend by one hour more. It would be a healthy choice if it means your biological clock would feel more natural. But there is a catch, " his bright glowing eyes shadowed a little, as he slowly asked. " I want to make this for you if you feel you'd live a healthier life with it, but there is a consequence in pair with benefits. Your body, in order to sleep an hour extra, would still be going through the motions of existing one hour longer. It is not drastic enough stretching of time to hurt a mortal, but it doesn't stop ageing. You will age an hour a day faster than other humans. That is, what I am saying, I think you should do it, but that you should be mindful to seek immortality sooner than later. One hour isn't too much, but it adds up in the long run. "

" What Alpha wants to say is, it would be good for your body, but you have to be careful. I never agreed for us to do such things for random humans, but it is possible if it's for you, and since it's only an hour, it's not too big a hit on morality, " Hans commented his thoughts, and Demon nodded back.

" Yes, the only issue is your mortality, really. You see, I can stretch my time however I feel like because I am an immortal. I can finish work that would need a year of hard effort in a day if I play with my own time enough. But I am a Star, I can play however I feel like. I mean, I can play with other's times, as well, but it is just a little too unsightly side of me. Like, it's way too much power imbalance, to know that I can irreversibly make a human I dislike age ten years in a day, " he grinned innocently, with the same, soft expression and feeling. " That's why I need to resist temptations and try not to use it too much, you see, to not make it a habit. It is easy to get lost in the power... On the flip side, if someone's trying to kill you and I a there, I'll have you know I'm sure it would be fun snapping my fingers and checking out how does it look when a person ages a thousand years in a couple of seconds. There's no murder if there's mere dust left behind, I say... "
