Hans knew that, while a sincere statement in itself, the actor was definitely saying it to reassure him, too, and he returned his smile with a knowing fond appreciation.
" Indeed, there's no reason not to enjoy the wins as they come... It's a good day when victory is as soft as a cloud and as cosy as a blanket. Won't you summon a blanket for yourself, too? Armchairs are the best, but you can never go wrong with blankets, " he replied to him softly, and while Tide and Alpha went down to the lower level and Star began summoning some of his carpets and bigger furniture, Hans took out a pen and three notebooks from his dimensional bag, as it seemed he intended to use the peaceful moment for a bit of writing. The actor could see that one of the notebooks was one Spirit so dramatically brought out before, when writing down that he enjoyed flower pastry with dark chocolate and cherry, with the name Senecio written on it. The other two had written "Tide • 19" and "Alpha • 11" on the covers, and while all three were of the same materials and quality, the actor could see that the notebook with his name was currently around the fifth part filled, while the other two were nearly full.

Senecio looked at the notebooks curiously. "I'd ask you of I could take a peek into Tide's, but it's more fun to figure it out for myself," he smiled and summoned a blanket for himself, and after a short consideration also some tea and a platter with bread and cheese, since his last proper meal was the pancake. "Would you like some?" he offered to share.

" You know, besides summoning things from other rooms, one can also summon and move things from the same room. So, if you're feeling lazy like me, don't forget you can do this, " Spirit said with a grin, as he summoned a little piece of bread and cheese from Senecio's platter into his own hand, so he would not have to stand up to take it. After he took a bite he grinned, satisfied. " In exchange for a delicious treat, I'll tell you as much as I can without spoilers - notebooks are a gift. I'm not writing anything that is too scandalous for family to read, don't worry, it is imagined to be shared if one wants to, so if you were to ask to read any of them, I'd let you, but alas, since you don't want to, " he shrugged innocently. " Guessing game is quite fun, too, if that's the way you want to go. You don't have to worry about never knowing if you don't guess, though, " he snorted little through tease, as he wrote another line on "Senecio" book." As I said, those are going to turn into gifts once they are filled. You can read on progress for now, if you wish, but one titled for you will be yours anyway after I fill the last page. If you want to read one titled by Tide, though, you'll have to ask Tide to borrow it once it is his, too, although if you want to see previous tomes I made for Tide, you can ask him and I can borrow them to you, although only Tide books 16 to 18 are in current lowlandian language and script you could read, unless you know the older dialects. For the sake of keeping things more memorable, I always use the current language and writing system of the place where we are staying when I write those, so only the latest ones are lowlandian.  "

"Oh, so it's not just favourite kinds of pastries, drinks, cheeses and so on?" Senecio asked, more curious now. "Is it okay if I peek into mine to see what kind of things you record?"

" Of course, it's more than just favourite foods and drinks. Those are a piece of cake to remember. There are a lot more other things that are more easily lost to the sands of time when days start to get uneventful and blend together," Hans spoke innocently, tempting him on purpose. " And, my silly little Moonthorn... You don't have to ask to peek," he couldn't help but chuckle a bit." You can just read however much you want and then return it to me for now. Don't think of it as stealing a glimpse of something you shouldn't have. It is merely... receiving a portion of your gift a littlest bit early. Tide, Alpha and the others I write for often ask to sneak a peek of current progress when they are having a bad day... If you are curious about how I started writing those, you can ask; it's not really a secret, it is more about a little habit that caught on, that a few of us do for each other. Alpha, Sage and Tide, for example, also write their own versions for me. You can read however much you like, but just a heads up, I find it more fun to read chronologically, at least for the first read, and for tome number one like this one, though it might start mattering less when first tome is written and we continue onto second, third and so on, " he explained as he ordered the room to transfer the notebook holding Senecio's name to actor's hands, so he could choose whether he would read everything or just a bit, as they had lot of time since they had no other obligations in any case.
