Svarik and the company I :)

" I, um.. I wouldn't fight you, sire, of course... " Vampire blushed deeply, covering his mouth with a hand awkwardly and timidly as he realized that implication. " I would never!  I am just saying.. Um... It's perfect just like you, um, I mean, it's very sufficient hair, sir. I love it, um, I mean, I deem it to have nothing ill with it. Sir. "

[Mirach]

"I find it sufficient too..." Svarik smiled. "Yours is nice too. And Xia's fur..."

[VisAnastasis]

" Yes, it's beautiful. It's just as golden, she's  like little ball of sunlight.. "  vampire cleared his throat more shyly. He caressed little creature, his moves still not well coordinated, but a little more secure than as when he just started waking. " I.. " he added shyly. " I am sorry, I feel I must sound silly.. But in my defense, I imagine Emil made us what would be, compared to what I drank this morning, be rather closer to a doze meant for some kind of King of Demons or something, rather than some poor regular demon guy. " he snorted bemusedly, but was still caressing Xia as if subconsciously reassuring himself he didn't pass some line by comfort of her presence. " Heh, it's what would a bull's doze casually thrown at human feel like... It's great. I mean, it's awfully inappropriate - it makes you say and do.. silly. Bad, bad wibbly wobbly, timey wimey drink... "

[Mirach]

"It seems fine to me," Svarik smiled. "If there are no side effects or the possibility of overdose and you are in a safe place, there's no ill in relaxing and enjoying it..."

[VisAnastasis]

" You are too kind and mild... " vampire smiled more brightly, timid, thought he seemed rather pleased and more relaxed with Svarik's kind words, responding positively to his warm gentle tone. " But, seriously, what if something ill unexpectedly happened? I am not quite sure if I remember exactly even how walking is supposed to go, and I am dizzy like any other drunk guy. " he fondled Xia softly as he hesitantly talked. " I'd rather know I am collected enough to keep you protected. I am freaked out for your safety 24/7 as it is, God Gods, I'd be even more freaked out right now if we weren't behind three iron doors. " he chuckled little nervously as he admitted, the brew seeming to make him more open and talkative. " Unless I am sure you are with ser Falcon and, like, ten thousands guards, with no arrow in sight and nothing freaky going on, I doubt I'll be all in a mood to repeat this... The nights here are dangerous enough, and you're too important... "

[Mirach]

"But we are behind three iron doors here, and also some protective spells and circles, and nobody besides the people here knows we are here, and from them only one knows who we are, so I would say it's as safe as it gets," Svarik smiled. "Stop worrying for a while, alright?"

[VisAnastasis]

" Deal.. But only for a little while.  " Erdel smiled shyly. His hesitantly forming, more protective and warm feelings for Svarik could more easily be felt in his aura in this more sincere and relaxed content state, leaving its tender, light scent in the air. Xia tilted her little head, smelling the air as if enjoying the scent of vampire's earnest aura, and then, she had a hiccup, and started to make a sound similar to laughing with that new sensation, and vampire chuckled as well at that, and he hugged her tighter and smiled a little more freely, as if he found her innocence endearing and comforting in this more vulnerable state.



( OOC: Hello, dear! It's been a while, and I just wanted to catch up a little! I've been very busy lately, and I am in the middle of exams right now, so last few weeks ( read, two, three months XD ) have been quite a little stressful. I still have many assignments left to do/draw, until around beginning of February when last terms for exams are, but I've had some good news.  I've been waiting till I get more info to tell you - me and my friend Alexander applied for Erasmus + scholarship in Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava ( http://www.vsvu.sk/en/ ), and we both got it, so we're going there for the next semester!

Finally yesterday, we received scans of official invitation letter, and now we're waiting for people in Bratislava to send us originals so we can arrange visas and other documents needed. It's a very old and good school and we've met one of the professors we'll be having lessons with last autumn in some Workshop our University organised, and since we liked him and it's only one semester and not a whole year, we went for it and we both passed, so Alexander and I'll be spending five moths, from around 20th February to July studying there. I've never been away from home for so long, so I've been pretty nervous and stressful, but excited in the same time, so I hope it will all be well, and just wanted to share the good news, here's the invitation letter 2.jpeg ( that I only lowkey understand because it's in Slovak, but google translator helped plentifully, hehe :D )

Svarik was a little surprised with the sound as he didn't know Xia can laugh in this way, and he enjoyed hearing it. "Alright you drunkards," he smiled after a while, "It's time for me to sleep in turn. But before that, maybe Xia would like to read while I do that?" he asked, accompanying the question with the "book" gesture.

(OOC: omg, you are coming to Bratislava?!? I'm so glad and excited! I will be mostly home with little Linda by then, so while I won't be able to go out with you much, you are always welcome here! It's so awesome that you will get to meet her!)

[VisAnastasis]

*Books! Books! Books! * Xia signed excitedly, extending hands to Svarik innocently, full of affection.

( OOC: I'm very happy I'll get to meet her too, and I'm so happy for you! The timing for this was really perfect! I don't know how many assignments we'll have and how different it will be from our current system, so I don't know how often I'll be able to have breaks and hang out, but five months is quite a while, so hopefully I'll be able to come by at least a few times to check out on you two, which is really awesome! <33333333333333333

"You can read books while I sleep, okay?" Svarik asked, accompanying the words with gestures. After a moment of thought, he gave her some of the simple books that they alraedy read together, so that by already knowing the words going with the pictures, she could learn how they look in written form. He put the other books aside, but within her reach, so that it was clear that while he recommends her to start with those he gave her, she can pick another if she gets bored.

(OOC: I think you will have a reasonable amount of free time, and as Lalo will be in work and I'll be staying at home all the time, I would love if you came to visit sometimes! You could even bring some assignments here, I'm also planning to edit my book while staying at home (depending on how much free time I'll have left) so we could work on those things together :)

Xia realized Svarik will be sleeping so he won't read to her himself, and that got her thinking. She smiled a little, and she then suddenly signed *toys* instead, and when Svarik gave her one of the toy soldiers Cernunnos gifted her the day before, she took it in her mouth. Then she transformed into her winged form, and clumsily she climbed on king's bed, tossing aside pillow like usual, and laying down triumphantly, squealing with toy in her mouth still - seeming quite content of herself, as if she believed she found a loophole in king's wish for her to entertain herself while he sleeps- by still being able to cuddle with him, but not technically not do anything else because she was just, like... holding a toy. That was her argument, and she tilted her head curiously, watching if king will agree, as she didn't seem quite willing to part with him to do anything else, as she liked how content he was when he'd lean on her and let her cover him with her soft wings while he slept.

( OOC: Aww, that sounds lovely! I'd love to do that sometimes!  I have a laptop, so I'll be carrying most of my homework with me, anyway, so it shouldn't be that hard to come by every once in a while, and I'd love to see how your book is progressing and how you and little cutie are doing <3 I still am not sure when exactly I'll be coming there, as school year stars at 20th of February, but we still have to sign a learning agreement and get all the documents ready, but I'll try to keep you updated when I get more details :)

Svarik chuckled and caressed her. "You can read too, if you want, see?" he put the book before her so that she would be able to see it from her position without the need to move. "It will just need some practice to turn the pages, but Erdel can help you with that at the beginning. But you can also play instead, if you want. Whatever you like..." he caressed her again.

Creature seemed delighted with idea it doesn't have to sacrifice reading in order to stay close to Svarik, and she woofed with some excitement, her enthusiasm shining through the fabric of the world. She was still little dazed right now, but thankfully, she was aware of it, and she tried not to move much just yet, and while snuggling with him, she tried best to remain gentle, though her efforts ended in a bit of failure and were both a little rough and adorable in its clumsiness.
" Don't worry, sir. " Erdel whispered quietly and earnestly, though not standing up yet, not willing to trust his drunk feet as much as Xia so soon. " I don't have much to do during night time while you sleep, either - I'll gladly turn pages for her, and continue teaching her to read too, if you think it's alright... "

[Mirach]

"Yes, I think she would like that," Svarik nodded. "But I really need to get some sleep now..." he said, feeling rather drained by the day spent in the miasma of the fortress. "Can you wake me an hour before sunrise, so we can have breakfast with Emil and more time with Cernunnos?"

[VisAnastasis]

" If you are sure, sire... " Erdel's head seemed a little clearer by now, and he seemed more hesitant to voice his opinion, but he still decided for it even if he seemed a little embarrassed about warm sentiment behind it. " But if I may say... He is probably going to be exhausted right as morning comes - no less tired than you are now and you will be if you don't sleep enough. Is it wise to insist on waking up so early? I'd love to spend more time with him, but I doubt he'd enjoy it as much if you'd come to him weary and weak from today's... Maybe me and Xia could go on our own to him in the morning, and you could join us later, when you catch some more sleep? "

[Mirach]

"It's not that early, the sun rises later in winter, so I believe I can catch enough of sleep until then. If not, I'll let you know and sleep a bit longer," Svarik shrugged. "But you are right that Cernunnos might not feel well right after sunrise. Make it half an hour before sunrise then, we will give him some time to recover too... If I don't wake by then, have a breakfast and go without me."

[VisAnastasis]

" I'll go without you if you need more sleep, and I'll make sure Xia has breakfast before we go. " creature promised quietly, not adding anything else, letting Svarik lie down, cuddle up with Xia, and catch some sleep at last after a long busy day.

[Mirach]

"Alright, thanks," Svarik nodded. "Good night..." He then curled on Xia's side and soon fell asleep.

[VisAnastasis]

Erdel and Xia kept each other's company, while Emil, who was entrusted with it, watched over king's animals, fennec fox and kitten, this night. In the morning, as sunrise was nearing, vampire observed king timidly, as if trying to figure out if he should wake him or not.

[Mirach]

Svarik's sleep was already lighter by that time, maybe not as much for the reason that he would have enought of it, but more because he was decided to wake before sunrise.

[VisAnastasis]

Erdel was hesitant, not wanting to wake him, but not that close to him or brave enough to willingly disobey him, even for his own good. So he observed him a little sadly, and waited to wake him till the very last moment the waking would technically qualify as obeying those instructions, and only then he reached for him to do so.

[Mirach]

Svarik woke rather quickly, expecting to awoke at this hour, even though he did not look that well rested. He shook the weariness off quite fast though, and rose, wishing them good morning.

[VisAnastasis]

Xia seemed worried, observing him like that, and she tried licking his face, as if hoping that would help him get more wakeful. In Erdel's eyes was apparent displeasure, too, as despite on outside weariness could be lost to eyes, such thing could not be hidden from demon's, sensitive in their senses as they were - but like Xia, he too said nothing of it, he just seemed more quiet and withdrawn, staying in polite lane as he kindly wished king good morning too.

[Mirach]

Svarik caressed Xia as she licked him, not being too bothered by losing an hour or two of sleep, finding it a worth exchange for Cernunnos' company. "Now you have a practical example how my hair looks in the morning," he told Erdel good-naturedly while looking for a comb.

[VisAnastasis]

" It's perfect. " Erdel cracked a little faint smile, though it came with hardship, as he seemed to have been holding some grunge, still gloomy and displeased for having to wake up Svarik so early. " Looks better than your face right now, that is, if I may say, sire. " he couldn't help himself from noting, a wry remark he would probably not dare say if Svarik hadn't acted so freely around him since they met.
