" But you really wanted to go, didn't you, Mister Sunshine? " Melody asked him gently, seeing, from Tide's insisting, that there must had been reason he didn't want them to separate right now, and choosing to go with it, but still try to not take away from Svarik's fun. " I could travel as wind this once, and Erdel could follow on his own way, as till now. That leaves you, Sage, Hans and Tide. "
" I am waterbender, and Tide is too, and 4th city is coastal one. " Sage noted. " I can move water at my will. Actually, if you'd be in for it - I have a badass boat, so if we are going all in - why don't we just go overboard? Sure, it would take us two hours to reach it, instead of one, but we could all fit, and the view would be nice. Have you ever been on ship before? It's marvelous. " he tempted them kindly. " I aim to please - would you like for us to take a ride to 4th city on my ship? I will ask for no charge for it, as long as you treat us some good drink at some nice pub when we make a break from shopping. We can go slower on the way back, watch the sundown too, perhaps. What do you say? " |

"I would really like that," Svarik smiled. "I hoped to sail on the sea while being here. We had small fishing boats at the Sitnis lake, but nothing like this." |

" If you like fishing boats, then you're going to love my boat. Come on, let's pack up some lunches first, and then, let's come abroad! " Sage told him gently. Xia transformed into a fox form of her own choice, so Melody could ride on her and not exert with walking, and as soon as they got their lunches packed, Sage led them down to the harbor, to his ship. It was a real beauty, apparently customly build for and for piloting of Sage himself, being a waterbender of his skill, not requiring crew for such a short two hour trip.
This particular boat was not a big one, as Sage didn't seem to find it necessary to have a huge boat, because he probably only used it for his friends and special guests, but it was full of beautiful cute trinkets, and carved on an unique way, probably lot of inspired by boats of his homeland back on south. https://68.media.tumblr.com/dbf7b034dbd42d1d414ad7fc5ee07bc2/tumblr_n8gwpm2PiB1rpjuq0o1_1280.jpg |

"I've never seen a boat like this," Svarik said admiringly as he found a place to sit in the boat. "We only had simple wooden ones, with no adornments." |
Administrator
|
" These were more common of culture I was born in... " Sage replied, caressing the bark of the edge with affection, while waiting for everyone to get ready and sit comfortably. " There were wars in sea lands before empire came around, and my home island was destroyed, and I was made slave in one of those wars... But Some of the leftovers of my culture still echo in this world. I made this boat for myself and for my friends, from how I remember them as they once were. " he smiled a little. " I am honored you enjoy it, sweet little nightingale. My culture was all about adornments of all kinds. I love when it's appreciated. "

"So thete are no more boats like this? That's sad..." Svarik murmured. |

" Chin up- humans are a crazy specie. " Sage grinned fondly at him seeing he is down. " Don't worry, sweet one, history likes cycles - I am sure once, some of these days, someone is going to invent them anew. Crazier things have happened, that someone coming up with a new kind of boat that looks suspiciously like one that already existed. There is no reason for loss. It's not like I wouldn't be able to mass produce them, if I wanted to - but why would I? " he winked. " This is a treat, for my very special friends. When Falcon visits me one day, I hope, I am going to give him a ride too, preferably, with you by his side. Please, rejoice yourself, my dear guest, looking forward to that occasion, once. "

"I will certainly try to convince him to come," Svarik nodded. "It would be great if he would be here." |
Administrator
|
" I will count on you on that, then. As you might imagine, I've been hoping for three years to give him a treat, but he's just ever so busy for that. " man grinned. " Alright, then, all on board - let's go! " he said, and with elegant theatrical move, he raised his hands into the air, and the seas bent to his will - and then set of upon the ocean, toward the 4th city.

Svarik enjoyed the swift ride on the waves and the views of the coast. It seemed that whoever was watching them before, he has given up with their numbers and fast means of transport. |

Tide did not grow comfy with it. He was pleasant on the outside, engaging with everyone on his own, charming and loveable way, but, just like mother animal keeps its pet safe, he kept an eye out all the time in case something got wrong, in less obvious way, but no less that Erdel, who was ever vigilant to do a good job, did. Tide could have felt that whatever was watching them, recognized Svarik even if he died his hair, and that, while it was unclear if it knew Tide himself of not, he did recognize that he was either demon or a threat of some kind; and so, it made whoever it was seem suspicious and old Being could not let it go lightly.
As they reached the magnificent city, he was charmed and content as everyone else, but he remained a gentle silent guarding, making sure Melody, Hans and Svarik stay in circle of their formation, and watching over them with great care. |

There seemed to be no threat in the city, as they probably left it behind. Nobody knew Svarik here, and they paid more attention to the Sage who was widely known. They visited several souvenir shops, as Svarik wanted to get something for everyone, and more than one thing. |

It was indeed, probably the biggest city on the cost - it was marvelous, and there was no wonder why travelers loved it. They managed to find little bit of everything, and Erdel was also chuckling with excitement like a little boy, when king agreed to buy one very lovely necklace made out of colorful gemstones intended for Malachite. He held it close to all remaining time of their trip, looking forward to giving it to the Spirit. He also noticed one particularly sweet necklace with sun and moon, and asked if king would perhaps like to buy it for ser Falcon.
https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51P6U6bsZuL._UY395_.jpg Ser Falcon seemed to be a lot on his mind in fondness, as, when he sow dry dried sea stars, he gleamed and asked king if he could buy him one to give to Conrad, desiring to do something nice for him. Melody as well seemed to have Falcon in mind - she liked colorful girly dresses, of course, but when they got into a jewerly shop and shopkeeper presented them with a black pearl in a lovely shell, girl kept delightfully tugging Svarik's sleeve, with childish excitement bidding him to buy it for her, saying she knows her Birdie will like it. |

Svarik bought all the things that his friends liked, either for Falcon or for themselves, and a lot more that caught his eye - a pearl necklace for Lipka, a model of a ship for Irden, several pretty gems for Nammy, a comb made of seashell for Liron, a set of cups for Baldir, coral necklace for Bell, seeds of exotic plants for Zephyr, a ring for Ciel, toys and board games for the children from the Orphanage... He got sonething for everyone, besides himself.

Erdel and Melody seemed to be whispering up something between themselves, and then, to Sage.
At one point, suddenly, old young looking man grinned. " Say, little Nightingale - how much would you like to check out the oldest, largest, and best instrument shop in Lowlands? " Sage asked innocently. " I know the shopkeeper, we order Tide's lutes from him, since Tide is quite strong, so when he gets into playing some song he really likes, he tends to get too excited and press down the fragile wood little too hard. It can be said we are on great terms., since we bought over 15 lutes in last couple of years alone... And you can say he has spacious five stored house, all packed up with beautiful instruments for sale. " he tempted king with playful wink. " You could pick out anything, anything you want. We will make it my treat this time, deal? " |
Administrator
|
"Five stored?" Svarik wanted to assure. "In that case I think we need some refreshment before delving in... Is there some good tavern nearby?" he asked, not wanting to spoil the experience by anyone of the being hungry or thirsty.

" There's a *The Green Dragon*! It's my favorite! " Tide bemused playfully. " It's, um, fifteen minutes of walk, I think.... Can we go there, can we, please, pretty please? We are regulars there, and they have cocktails in all sorts of pretty vivid colors... "
" Yeah, it's not exactly hit with the ladies, but it's hit with Hans, so we always go there... They have lot of exotic food, too... Nothing for you, you overground child.... " Hans bemused to Tide, softly nudging the overexcited big demon with some playful loving affection. " Until I get that hand rebandaged again. You will get no sniff from any coctail till we look after that, deal? " " What's there to make a deal over? It was not request, but an order... " Tide murmured begrudgingly, before nudging Hans back a little, which in demon's terms was a lot, as it shook Spirit's stance quite a bit and sent him little backwards in the street - while demon chuckled sarcastically as he added. " I will not defy your hard earned mother status, though, you silly single self proclaimed mom... " " Look who's saying, you ungrateful little man-child! " Hans winked to him teasingly. " Seriously, is this how I have raised you? To yell at your self proclaimed mom? " " You are not half as good mom as you think you are! You are just my tiny crybaby! " Tide laughed back, and he proceeded to chuckle and tickle the little Spirit lightly with his healthy hand, it seeming to be some part of ritualistic intern joke between them. |

|
"Let's check this green dragon then," Svarik chuckled."But hans is right, first we should find some private place to change the bandages..."
|

Tide rolled his eyes begrudgingly, but obediently, as it seemed he had adapted over years to be obedient not to distress his friends.
" We could do it at Green Dragon, in one of the rooms. They rent by hour, and know us well. " Hans suggested. " I took freedom to bring first aid kit and all I need, so we will rent room for that hour and take care of that quickly, while you pick us table with nice view and order something super colorful for two of us, deal? " |
Administrator
|
"That sounds good," Svarik nodded. "Lead the way."
