"That would be great, but in that case I would already go packing on your place, if you want to have time for that tomorrow," Svarik said amiably.

" I will - I have to start baking cake tonight, anyway, so it's cooled down and fresh by the time you come. See you tomorrow, then, sir, Erdel, Xia. It was lovely to hang out with you... " he bid them goodbye, and after letting Xia nestle with him and lick his face, he as well first embraced vampire amiably and freely, in a tight hug, which seemed to fluster Erdel, but also please him, and he embraced the man back fondly, and even raised his up and spined him in the air a little with the chuckle, as if as some part of a internal joke between them - they seemed to be on very friendly terms, and it was no wonder that, when asked about future possibilities in Jake's life after he moves out, he sow that he would have remained a friend with Erdel.

"Do I get a hug too?" svarik asked with a grin.

" If it's not appropriate to give hug to a dear old friend, I guess you'll have to punish me for it, sir. " Jake replied more shyly after he caught his breath from the spin, and after patting vampire at a shoulder with glance of appreciation - indeed, he couldn't keep himself from it, and he embraced Svarik heartily and sincerely too, the distance and missing him seeming to give him courage to not act quite as submissively as servant, and indeed - as free as an old friend would, and despite there was respect in the hug, there was lot of care and fondness, as, like for all this time, Jake had quite a soft spot for meadow king in his heart.

"I think it's very appropriate," Svarik chuckled, and embraced Jake fondly.

The familiarity behind the gestures seemed to brighten up Jake's spirit a little bit - it was almost as if a frail pale plant that has been rotting and withering away, has been given a bit of warmth and sunlight. The parting was bitter sweet, but with kindness exchanges, and with treat he could look forward to making for his friends for tomorrow, it seemed lad could occupy his thoughts away from sadness, and so they parted in good will, him, going back to the mansion, and the group heading back their own way staying place at Sage's home.
--- Tide was hesitant, but after he had given Lorenzo three hours of sleep and felt some of his strength was replenished, he knew he could not delay much longer, if he was to finish the letters on time - and so, he hesitantly placed hand on lad's shoulder, and starting shaking him a bit, trying to wake him. |

Senecio opened his eyes sleepinly, smiling a little when he saw Tide. "Time to wake up?" he murmured.
Administrator
" You could call it that... " Tide said slowly, having a practical note in his voice, despite there seemed to be some general trace of pleasure at a fact actor smiled up instinctively at seeing him. " I'd rather call it, um, time when it's probably best to start writing the notes... " he corrected the statement gently. " I got you the papers and ink ready... "
Administrator
"Ah yes, the notes..." Senecio sighed. "Could we have some breakfast first?"
Administrator
" A bit more of a lunch... " Tide corrected shyly, as if anticipating he'll be berated for letting him sleep too much. " But I took freedom to bring you some snacks, that you can munch on while writing, so you wouldn't get hungry. If you'd prefer appropriate meal before it, though, I'll see to it that someone brings us something warm from the kitchen, then. "
Administrator
"Thank you, a snack is fine. A big meal would it just make harder to think."
Administrator
" Alright. I'll order us a fine meal after you finish the notes. " Tide said innocently, as he shyly helped Senecio up, and let him sit at his table, where all writing supplies were already prepared, along with quite a bit of snacks of different kinds - and as well, a little bowl with couple of just made, still hot, baked potatoes, with salt and butter beside it.

Senecio smiled and took a few potatoes to still his hunger first. Then he turned to the empty page and stared at it blankly for a while. Then, with a heavy sigh, he finally started writing. |

" If I may suggest... " Tide voiced himself quietly, after a moment. " If it would be possible, while your mind is clearer, I'd appreciate it most if you wrote apologies first to Erdel, to dear little Nightingale, and to Garnet, please. The rest of us live here... But those three are our guests. " he suggested, and paused, before adding. " They deserve good apologies, foremost. Maybe even longer apologies, than two pages. The sweet demon youngling, especially. If you could write those three apologies first, and if I see you poured your heart into them and meant them sincerely.... If you end up pressed for time, I will see if I can coax meadow king to be little more forgiving, and let you write rest of the apologies tomorrow, when you rest a bit better, and are less hungry and sleep deprived... "
Administrator
"Three pages? But I don't even know what to write on two... In how many ways can you say "I'm sorry, I was stupid"? Anx he said I have time until evening, I do not want to disobey without knowing if he would agree to that..." |
Administrator
" If he protests, I will say it's my fault, for making you sleep first instead of letting you work. That is kind of true. All I require in turn is for you to think through how your feel, and put yourself in place of those you wronged, and apologize for hurt you put them through. I will take care to speak of the extended deadline for tomorrow with the king, I promise. He won't protest, as long as you prove your earnestness by doing whatever you can do today, responsibly and mindfully to those you wronged. If you do so with willing heart and sincere effort, I will make sure everything is okay in the end of the day. " Tide said gently, and then, he smiled a little, looking at him with charmed, soft gaze. " All I ask from you is to.... Just have a little, little bit more fate in me, for a little while longer, okay? "
Administrator
Senecio sighed. "I can do that, but I still don't know if I can write more than two pages... or even that. I just don't know what is there more to say..." |
Administrator
" Nobody said it will be easy - but it's preferable punishment than death at least, isn't it? At least we can sit this one out together... " it seemed Tide was trying to find way to encourage him. " Does it sound honest, if you just say * I am sorry*? It sounds lazy, and insincere. It should not be big words, like words of Findling... They should just be your words, words of Senecio, a terribly handsome, but alas, terribly foolish man. " he tilted his head curiously at him. " I am sure that they want to grow a better understanding of you - to understand why you acted as you did. To understand the struggles of a kid, who was taught to wear masks, ever since he learned to speak. Who was raised in such hate, that even after death of his parents, he could not escape the urge to fill shoes he was forced in, to be a weapon - even if knowing that it wouldn't change anything, in the end, even if he knew it would destroy him in the process. " Tide whispered quietly. " I want to see that boy, pour his heart to the paper, to those he wronged in his attempted suicide mission, and who still chose to be so understanding of him, instead of to kill and harm him. " he hesitantly put hand on lad's shoulder, in support. " I know I am asking much from you.... that's why I will bid for more time for you to complete this task properly. Could you just do this for me, and give your best in this, so I don't have to bow my head in shame before our guests at sundown, please? "

"I don't know..." Senecio said uncertainly. "Do you think anybody will be interested in reading about that?" |
Administrator
" I know that I will. " Tide reassured him gently, but a little quietly. " I know so little, as well. I wish to understand too, if you are willing to allow me. You did hurt my friends and family... It's not like I can forgive that as lightly as pretending ti didn't happen... " he admitted. " But I want this thing between us to work. I want to understand. Maybe if I could understand what drove you to it, maybe I could forgive easier... But only if I am sure you are honest, really honest. Your dishonesty already costed you lot of sympathy, in heart of my beloved ones, for whom I only want happiness and delight, not pain... But you could make up for it with the truth, if you'd only be willing. I am sure everyone will be interested, in reading that... And find it a little easier to forgive you, I hope. Just some truth and honesty, please. No more masks, alright? " kind old demon bid gently, as he shyly reached forth, and raised actor's chin up in endearing gesture, as one would with a child. " I believe in you. Findling is too awestruck with his glorious purpose, to put truth on paper, clearly and as it is, without twisting it into some kind of poetry. We need someone more down to earth, more analytical, who puts more thought before he says such big words, as *sorry* or * I regret I wronged you*. We need Senecio for this one task.. I... need Senecio di Parvaio to do this, okay? "

Senecio nodded, still a bit hesitantly. "If they are bored with it, they don't have to read it, right?" he murmured. "They probably won't read it anyways..." |
Administrator
" I know for sure Erdel will read it first, as soon as he gets his. I am quite confident Sunny kid will too. Garnet is furious and boiling on the inside like one of her failed experiments, and you can bet she dreams about boiling you in acid, from stealing from her, right now - but she will swallow her pride and pretend you do not exist till end of your life from now on, if apology is good enough, I know. Hans is extremely bitter, and Sage is quite quiet and grim, but they will read it alright. And I certainly know I will read it too, and that I shan't be bored not at all, not in the slightest. " he whispered quietly. " I only know not for Amelia and Lorenzo - whether they will be willing to indulge you... But he did agree, not to challenge you to duel or harm you in any way. That was big for him. I doubt he would hold your apology in his hands, either, and not yearn to know why somebody he deemed dear friend betrayed him so. I am sure everyone will read... And even if they chose not to - if you'd let me.. " he bid hesitantly. " I'd like to read, whatever you write... If I am to be close to you, then I wish to know more. "

"I think some parts will repeat if I have to explain that to everyone. Is that alright?" Senecio asked, biting the end of the pen over a still mostly blank page. |
Administrator
" As long as it's not just the same message copied couple of times like an ancient manuscript, I think I can live with that. " Tide patted his shoulder approvingly. " No need to go over the top, I told you. There's only need to be honest, and only thing that needs to show, is that you was sincere and took a honest effort to do this to the best of your ability. Do not look at it as apology, if it makes it harder for you and if it makes you feel so ashamed... If you can, try to look at it as thank you... " he suggested gently. " A thank you to people that recognized both your struggling and potential to do better in life, and wished to see you achieve better things, and decided give you second chance, despite they had every right not to. A thank you, rather than apology - would that be easier way to look at it? "

"I don't know, maybe a bit of both. But could you... not watch me while I write, please? I can't focus with that. Could you read a book or something?" |
