"If I can choose though, I don't want to wake in a thousand of years, in a world I do not know. I want to wake now," Mirach said.

" Even if you know the danger? Even if you know you might die and never return to that friend Izven that you seem to care about? " elven prince whispered, as if it was crucial to him. " If... If I seem to fail..." he asked seriously. " If I ask it from you... will you obey my wish and return without me? "

" Seem to fail... Like, maybe not already dead, but dying, or anything of such sort... gravely injured, half munched on by some... awful thing out there.... under some unexpected curse or hex... It's danger to stay on one place for too long. As much as stay anywhere on your own. If I fall to predicament, I don't want... you to try to gather and bring help, or something. If something ill captures me, I'm as good as dead, and you're as good as dead if you go against something capable of hurting me one on one... If something happens to me... I don't want any ridiculous courage. I don't want bravery, and I don't want you to seek Selden or beg him for help or something... As if he'd ever listen... It'd just be placing you in whole lot of trouble." he said haltingly, but firmly. " What I mean to say, is... if it seems I am failing... I'd like you to turn back. You're a powerful Singer, and, you, you have someone waiting for you here.... You can still do lot more good here, than following me to death with any, you understand... " he smiled sadly. " Overly confident rescue attempt... "

"I don't quite understand your logic," Mirach said. "Why shouldn't I go on to find this Selden? You can't speak wirh him, but I can, and if I tell him that you are the only one who can free him, and need his help, why wouldn't he help you? If the chance of your mission to succeed would lie in that, don't you want to take that chance to save your world? I like saving worlds..."

" Of course I'd take any chances... if it meant risking only myself.  I'm just saying that he's scary, and he's strong, and his illusions are nothing to mess with... What I am saying, I guess... Is that I think neither of us would stand chance against him in one to one combat, if he's seriously trying to squash us. " elven prince whispered. " My only hope is that he won't wish to fight for real, ans that his fighting back will be more of a testing thing.. But in any case, I alone would be at disadvantage if faced with him, because I am bad with fighting magic, as my base ground is healing. But you, with your active use of music... You say you can maneuver through illusions. You could be an opponent he'd take seriously, an opponent he'd fear came to harm him. " Liron whispered haltingly. " On your own, facing him... I just... It's just, if I fall, my mission fails, anyway. I just don't wish you to get yourself killed for nothing... "

" Safe distance is a relative term for a wizard... You never quite know what it is. Could be that none of the Inner World is safe distance by now, if he managed to put it under his influence... But... it is true that we'll get nowhere by discussing possibilities we cant predict. It's all risky... But still... You're a fighter, where Svarik... is really not. I feel... a selfish need, to have him tag along. To have his support. But I know that if something goes wrong, his chances are low where yours are high. I had seen how frail he really is, all too well, for me to wish to see it again, even at cost of separating from him. " Liron finally admitted in the end, and sighed, worn out by the conversation on something so unpleasant as thoughts of death. " I.... if you're really sure, I'd like to take you upon your offer. But I'll have to speak with Svarik of this first. I don't want to disrespect him, by putting him before finished act and disregarding his feelings. I must explain him situation first. I must release him from the promise he made to me, before I take upon any new ones... "

" Don't take offense, please... I just know him for much longer than you right now, and he's a really soothing person to me. You're really fiery and passionate, by what I can see, and I admire that... But he was just calming, in the way he's acted to me. Dear poor goofball... He's gotten me in so much hell of a trouble... But boy, could he give good hugs to make up for it. " Liron smiled faintly, a little fraily, but with more color to his face, after unpleasant conversation was behind them, and his thoughts seemed to right away fly to the thought of needs of his companions. " I think... If all is well... After all this is said and done, I think... you'll like him, when you meet him. He's a king of Lowlands, I think I told you already? Right... But anyway, I mean, he's not stiff and vain about it, and I'm sure he'd love to meet you.  You don't knew Izmir, maybe meeting and talking would give you both some closure... "

" Maybe it will. " Liron replied quietly, the same as she did. " So, how are we going to do this? " he asked little hesitantly. " When I talk to Svarik, how will I let you know how it went? Should I go to the Mountains for it? Or will Time free you himself without me having to send for you? And where will we meet and when? It seems like we could use this chance we have to talk right now to figure out what to do... "

" It's a bit complicated. I still am not quite sure. That is, there's been a little complication." elven prince explained. " My quest leads opposed to the mountains - mountains are in east, and where I should go, is toward the west. But there is something I need to make sure is taken care of. We kind of, um, came across couple of vampires in this realm. It's a long story. I need to make sure they're safely escorted back to my realm, to city of Elgard, and that path leads back to my world. I was told I'll get the help of Sun Spirits that fly, though, so it should be just a quick stop, is all is right - I hope."

"That's conveniemt then, I'm glad I won't have to walk all the way to the capital. You can stop for me on the way there or back, which would suit you more," Mirach said. "I will wait for you in the inn in Zeríč."

" Inn in Zeríč...  " elven prince repeated after her to remember it. " I'll meet you there... on the way back, if you agree. It just seems safer, not to drag you into any possible complications in my realm. If all goes well, that's where I'll go pick you up. "

" It's not about suitability. It just seems safer for you to not risk more than you need, that's all. " Liron seemed a little at a loss with that response. " Does it suit *you* better to stay or go? I mean... It certainly is safer for you to stay... But if you'd like to see something new, meet some new people, well, I mean... I guess it's a short enough stop, so I wouldn't mind bringing you along, either. I mean, you're the one that told me to choose, but you can choose too, you know. I just can't guess what you do want if you don't tell me. "

" Actually, that could be a good idea... " Liron nodded a little thoughtfully, considering it. " Unless for one year everything turned upside down back home, it should be quick and safe trip, and maybe it'll appease his conscience in later life... to feel like he's returned me his favors best he could... it could work out well... "

Liron remained there quietly for a moment, thinking about the future and implications this conversation will have on it. Then, he shook his head, and stood up, returning back to his hosts for a time being - he knew there was a play planned that actor Senecio would return to prepare for in matter of day or two, and he planned to catch a flight home then.

(OOC: I think we went at least day or two in universe further on this thread, so maybe we should pause this one for a bit until we catch up with the other one? maybe until Senecio returns to sea for play practice, so Liron can return? )
