"Yeah... he will probably scold me for having the chance and not getting something like that for myself," Svarik smirked. "But this will be for him."

" Really?" Tide  seemed quite surprised, but he took accepted the news quite easily." Well, if you are sure, I trust your choice. Do not worry. He may be grumpy for you not getting something for yourself, but he will surely appreciate the gift," he said brightly." Do you need any help or inspiration for what you are going to get? How good are you at picking different styles and accessories? Though it's mostly dresses, I have a whole room full of sewing materials and clothes, if you need inspiration, though, as I said, just normal not magical clothes."

"I have a general idea, but I hoped Alpha would help me with figuring out the details," Svarik said. "I don’t know much about sewing, so if you would like to contribute with ideas, you're welcome. I would just like it to be great."

" I am trying really hard to resist how much I want to see him in a puffy starlit gown, because I want to see everyone with a puffy starlit gown, to be honest, " Tide muffled his chuckle not to disturb any of the sleeping ones. " But rather than look, I think you should go all-in on functionality, no matter how it looks, that's what's going to really sweep him of his feet, " Tide shared his piece of advice amiably, himself seeming swept away with the exciting idea. " For a start, while Alpha doesn't generally often do things that stand out too much, this is special case, isn't it? " he turned his head to the Demon who was turning around Falcon's armchair observing him, and when Alpha nodded back, he continued his point. " Those booths Alpha made for Senecio are known as Booths of ten miles. While for Beings they enable more distance, for humans, they can enable them to jump at least twice higher than normal and be able to land and move more easily. Another thing I really think you should get is some enchanted gloves. Sir Falcon has a liking to armour gloves because they protect the hands well, but they are heavy and he can't climb the walls using those, so he doesn't wear any, preferring bare hands. You can have Alpha make him gloves that are thin and silky, but very easy to grasp things with, and so scarily durable that a sharp sword can do them nothing. Sage has a cloak that wraps around his body, sewn with mist and debts of the ocean, it protected him well more than once, so you should consider something like that too, because sir Falcon is very danger prone person... "

Alpha, who was walking and bending around the chair curiously watching the sleeping man, his form melted into shadows, turned head at the question. His light eyes glowed in the half-lit room like little stars.
" Not easy, but I am a fan of going along with the things for the hell of them sometimes, " he said innocently, pointing dramatically at the sleeping man, putting his whole body into lighthearted gesture. " Hey, why did nobody tell me he was this hot? It's no wonder Tide had a huge crush on him, too... It would be a total waste to have him die easily. Enchanted gloves and booths are a must, and we must definitely come up with a suitable kind of hat for this, to weave some good extra strong shield up there too to protect that galaxy brain. Oh, and the face too, naturally. Was this thing there like, chiselled by gods or something? " he teased Svarik with a wink, but his words held a gentle promise. " As responsible exemplary citizens, we must make sure to protect works of art well. "

" Alright then, we are a bit chaotic, mostly because you don't know much about clothes, so we can't just focus on talking, we need to do some quick sketches and list of all that we will make and features for each part of clothing." Alpha said." Should be borrow Tide's sewing room? Whether it helps us come up with something or not, it has a chill vibe, and you need a chill vibe when you are thinking up of objects that prevent people from dying."

They took they leave, bidding Tide goodbye, leaving him to guard the sleeping. Alpha knew where the room was and since it was on the same floor, they reached it soon. It was really quite impressive, with a large number of materials gathered over the years, and just as much clothing, though demon seemed to indeed have a soft spot for dressed because there was a great number of them.

They sat at a nicely lit table at a side, and Alpha took some papers, and they began taking notes on ideas they had so far, and items. So far from what they decided, Alpha made a brief list of object and features they figured out so far:

"- Tunic and trousers, embedded with shimmering stars that appear at will, and layers of clouds, mist and dust over them, protective shield feature
- dark cloak made from the mist, debts of the ocean, and silence of the cloudless night, extra protective shield feature
- dark gloves, soft and light to the touch, extra easy grasping as well as protective shield feature
- booths of ten miles that add extra agility, woven in with quietness of the primordial void to make them soundless, extra durability and shield feature
- a hat with the strongest shielding feature, impenetrable to all human weapons and several kinds of Being weapons "

And he also innocently added at the space at the bottom of the paper.
" - adorable simple bracelet for the girlfriend, and three more hoping-for-the-best-news couple bracelets to keep ready at a side for cute Sun De Sun, all with features of his choosing - read: extra optimistic extra early engagement gift "

" Since two man are in the mix, one of them being man who likes to wear extra dark mysterious clothes, I wouldn't use any flashy jewelry or metal, and what I can make, while nice, is more limited, crafting fine details are more Janus's department. I rather prefer to make jewelry of simple design, and then enchant them with my own touch. " Alpha explained and he took another paper and made a quick sketch.

" What do you think all four bracelets to be like this in form, with beeds, but that each has different thing embedded into them, so that they are different yet the same? Each can be tailored to the taste of recipient, so that they feel like a more special binding. For example, Sun de Sun, I can make yours hold the bright haze of the sun of Summer Solstice, and be warm and comforting to the touch, just like rays of sunlight on the warmest peak of the warmest days. Tempted already?"

Alpha chuckled with the comment, leaning on the table with one pair of hands.
" You know, you are as hard to work with as Tide. He also mostly focuses on saying that he wants his gifts to be sparkly and beautiful, and that he can't wait to see the reaction they elicit. You are both lucky you are too pure for this world people can't help but find you adorable," creature sighed, not with frustration, but surprisingly, rather contentedly." Just eyes on the prize, deal, Sunny? Do come up with features you want for remaining three bracelets, and if you want some additional features besides basically making the ultimate fairy armour," he grinned. " Oh, and since we are already covering all grounds, do you want us to add some pretty scarf for him to wear when it is still cold, but cloak is too much? It doesn't hurt to take heed of the neck, too."

"Right, we can't have him catching a cold as he's running somewhere on the roofs," Svarik nodded, excited about getting something awesome for Conrad. "As to the beacelets, if mine is summer sun, then Lipka's is the warm earth under that sun, nourishing corn into golden ripeness."

" Quite adorable, too, I am all for it. I can capture the soothing warmth of the earth without a sweat," Alpha raised thumbs on two of his hands affirmatively." Now, we just have to decide for two remaining bracelets, one for Conrad, the other for that mysterious lady he is dating. A little bird that had a hopeless crush on him told me once that his birthday is on the day of Winter Solstice, yes?" He asked innocently." What about for him weaving that wonder and calmness of watching the starlit sky, when the wind is caressing your face, and the air is cold, but pleasant, refreshing the heart and mind? The brilliance and soothingness of stars combined with the cleansing power of the night wind that bathes with the mystery and might of the Winter Solstice? He seems  to me by a quick glance to be the person that would enjoy such clarity, and freshness is a better match than warmth for someone that is always in a hurry and thinks too much. He won't be cold himself, it will just be the feeling coming from the bracelet, of course."

" Ohh, mysterious, aren't we? Do you want it just so, or do you also want me to maybe also add that fresh pure feeling of wet grass after rain? Just to sprinkle it a little bit?" Being suggested." That is easily one of top ten best smells on earth, at least in my opinion, but the choice is yours. In any case, is that all? No other details, requests or alterations?"

" Oh, the juicy part? Why not? " Alpha agreed, clearly looking forward to this part. " Oh, and I also thought of a more properly dramatic way to do this. It is better if you say one suggestion, and then I say one, back and forth until we have ten each, and then we pick? I was thinking, I would be in too big advantage if I let you come up with everything you want first and then it turns out your list is just full of too simple things like diving at sea or walking the dessert. To properly one up one another, you should hear my options and get a taste of how delightfully opportunic and unpredictable Being deals can be. " orbs that were its eyes blinked delightfully. " It's not fun if you don't try to playfully in good spirits screw me over too."

"That sounds good," Svarik nodded. "It will be more fun to have alternating suggestions. So, I'll start with something I've heard about but didn’t have to luck to do yet. Hearing the song of a whale. Well, I haven't even seen one yet, to be honest, but I'd specifically like to hear its singing."

Being snorted a little, tilting his head around, as if checking out a cute puppy.
" As I said - too good, too pure for this world, " he said, as he dramatically waved with free pair of his hands towards Svarik, adding gently. " Of course, I like that suggestion. Depending on what other picks you have, if you don't have more cool things, I'd pick it. Now, as for my suggestion. Remember, conditions are, nothing dangerous, doesn't take a day, isn't sexual, and doesn't have to be done right now, as specific or unspecific as taste dictates. So, in light of that, this is my pick, I will choose a simple pleasure first too," he was watching Svarik innocently, as he added, with dramatic inflexions. " Because of circumstances and my appearance, I have never been to a wedding of a king, you see. I always wanted to go, but I never had good enough relations with any human king for inviting someone of my peculiar appearance that could make people uncomfortable to be worth it... pesky, petty humans, you know how it is, " it was hard to read his expression, expressionless as it was, but his words were soft. " So my super-specific suggestion is - I want to go to a minimum of one awesome wedding of a human king with you and sit in the front row as it happens, and have a full wedding experience, including but not limited to clapping the loudest when the said king kisses a bride or a groom or both and getting a super huge slice of a super cute cake. "

Svarik chuckled. "Okay, noted," he said and took a piece of paper. He divided it in two parts, writing "Svarik" on the top of one and "Alpha" on the other and noting down two things so far: whale song and kingly wedding. "So, my second one... I've never been to a salt mine. I'm rather intrigued by the descriptions of the white crystals and light reflecting in them, and I've heard the miners often carve statues from salt to guard them as they work."

" That used to be more true in the past, before Empire conquered the East part of the continent, as East religions had a tendency to have many small Gods tied to their daily activities, including Deities that protected them from dangerous Debts of the Earth. But there are still quite a few smaller communities left in the east that practice the old customs of sculpture carving. We can go there sightseeing, in current mines, or we can also visit all abandoned mines to check out some cool archaic sculptures, whatever you pick,  " Alpha nodded. " Now, for my the second pick... I want to up the stakes. Of course, it means nothing if you don't pick that option, but it's on me to suggest. On a scale of one to ten, how eager are you to do a huge amount of work just for the heck of it? " he asked, with a cunning expression. " You see, in the past, the capital city used to be very beautiful, to me at least. White roofs shimmering in the light were most splendid... I can not insist on white ones, as I heard the current patron of the city is really into pink, so I'd be making a compromise, " for the first time, a little bit of playful devilishness, fit for a Being that is playing with the deal like a cat with food, shone through the creature's expression. " I have never painted roofs with the king. So, my suggestion is, I want to paint every single roof in the capital city with my sidekick king, with a bright shade of pink preferred by the entity Silver Symbelmine, with added ingredients and enchantment by me to make the colour shine beautifully, and be extremely hard to wash out or paint over so that it can last for very long time. "

Svarik chuckled and wrote down the suggestion. "I'm not sure how realistic that one is. I know you have six hands, but I think you might be underestimating the current size of the city. And I don't really want to dictate to people what color their roof should have, so we'd only do it on the houses whose owners would agree. It may be most realistic to just paint the palace roof - I kinda own that one, and there's quite a lot of roof, maybe even more than it would take to paint in a day. We shall see if we decide on that one. As to my third one, you may laugh but I've never milked a goat. Cows and sheep I did, but I somehow never got to a place that cared for goats in time when then needed help with milking. Have you?"
