Senecio didn't mind it either, despite being just sleepy and not phisically exhausted. He leaned his head on Tide's shoulder, enjoying the closeness.

Tide carried him to the room, and innocently sat him down on a bed - actor could see that the sheets were changed and new ones were brought, as Tide probably ordered that servant girl to see it done while Senecio is taking a bath. Sheets were fresh, just washed and dry, and they had a strong soothing scent of flowers.

"Mmmmm..." Senecio made a sound of pleasure, burtying himself into the covers. But then he opened his eyes. "Oh, that's not a good idea... I must first deliver the present..."

" How about I deliver the present later in your stead?" Tide bid him innocently, as he grinned lightly. " I can do it for you, easy. How about instead of worrying about it, you just relax, and let me tuck you in in that nice comfy bed? Would you enjoy that, my sweets?"

"I would enjoy that, but I really think that I should deliver the present myself. You could go with me though, I would appreciate that..." Senecio said, getting up from the bed.

Tide seemed a touch bewildered by that, but he respected his wish.
" I shall go with you then, I wish to tell him not to worry about Erdel's absence, anyway. If you don't want to sleep yet, though... would you mind then... this first?" He pointed timidly to his injured hand, probably not wanting to bring it up on his own before he was sure lad won't sleep." I don't want that sweetest Nightingale to see it unbandaged, and worry for nothing..."

Demon brought medical supplies, and he shyly and docily sat down and rolled up his sleeve, so Senecio could work.

"Sorry I didn't think of that myself," Senecio said while tending to him. "I need to get better in this. I remember it should be changed three times a day, but I did not realize that you had to take the bandage off while washing..."

" It was all glittery, so it wouldn't really be comfortable to let it stay anyway... " critter whispered, his fingers flinching but a little, instinctively, as lad was tending to the painful wound. " But I really function on different phisics than you. Always remember, that I am but a soul, clothed with body. " he educated him gently. " When I put on something from human world closely, like a bandage, it's restraining. I can't go through the fabric with such material burden, so I have to take it off. Did you notice that I was dry when I got back to you already, and refreshened? It's simple. I wash to remove all the material glittery bits and remove restraining bandage, and then I dry myself by passing through the layers. I come out of it as good as new, clean and dry. Demons' and Spirits' play on physics, that is. We pass through the fabric every once in a while, to make sure our bodies are still in tune with our souls, so we can be more comfortable. It's like brushing up a table cloth after a meal - making sure any crumbles of bread and food get cleared of, so no inbalance or disharmony from it can stick upon us and bring us to begin to rot. We are only as free, as we're free to pass through fabric freely. I guess you can look at it... As a form of self care. We are made to pass through fabric, so we must do it every once in a while, at least.  "

"Passing through layers sounds quite cool," Senecio said. "Can humans learn that as well, or are we stuck here?"

" Your soul, I fear, is not... truly equipped to do so. " Tide said slowly, not wanting to give him false hopes for such a thing. " It did not evolve, like that. Human souls stay and linger with their body, and only special potions, such as ones for Semai, or some form of mental practices and meditation, may help your soul leave the body... But it's not like for us. When we travel through layers, we carry all we are with us. When you drink potions and practice passing through layers - only your soul is passing through, and your body remains motionless here, in the first layer. It is dangerous, and if you're outside of your body for long enough, you may not be able to get back. Normally, humans have evolved to only pass through the fabric, um... You know... When you die. Trying to do it in any case, always leaves you walking still that thin line, between life and death. "

"Then I think I will content myself with tales from the other layers," Senecio smiled a bit. "There, finished. Is it alright?" he asked, when he tied the bandage.

" It is better, thank you. " Tide nodded, trying his hand lightly. " Shall we take that gift to the king, then? " he bid. " If you be a good kid and behave, sometimes when I feel like it, I may lead you through some other cool places where fabric of the world is thin, to the other layers, like I led you to old Turtle's island in third layer.  You'll have to earn it, though. " he said innocently, standing up.

Demon agreed, and he glanced at king's gift, and at first, he smiled broadly at cute little cake with glitter and decorations, but then, he grinned.
" I was right, after all. It's nice and all, but it's not the tenth bit as amazing as what you came up for me. " he teased innocently, but as he said, he followed actor docily and readily to king's room.

"Sure it's not," Senecio grinned. "I just want to appease him, not seduce him..." He stopped before the door, hesitating to knock.

Tide blushed with words, and remained silent as they walked.
When they reached door, seeing his hesitancy, demon grinned a little. He was fearless, and he waited not for him to get his courage, but instead of him, used his healthy hand to knock boldly at the door.

Svarik did not call for them to come in, but opened the door himself, since he was just close to them, on the way to the kitchen to get some breakfast.

" We won't keep you for long. It's just that Erdel and Senecio got to the market yesterday, and mixed up a little something for you... It's really cute, I'd love you to see it.. " he said, and he nudged actor encouragingly, hoping he'd feel more free to show it.

Senecio set his face like entering the stage in a role. He bowed. "I would like to offer you something to compensate for the trouble I caused, and Erdel kindly advised me in choosing," he said, presenting the gift.

Tide sighed a bit at theatricality of the statement, but still, he smiled, and looked up to see king's reaction, moving aside so Svarik could better see the gift - a delightfully sweet little glittery honey cake, with bright flowery and bees decorations.

Svarik smiled, when he saw it. "That's really nice. And that tunic... is it yours?" Svarik asked when he noticed Senecio's clothes.

Senecio got a bit uncertain with that, falling out of the role. "Um... no... it's borrowed. Mine got dirty. I'm sorry if it offends you somehow..."

"Oh no, it doesn't. It just reminds me on someone, that's all," Svarik assured him. "Thank you for the present, it's lovely."
