" I will see to it that they are ready. " demon promised, feeling that doing so would be least he can do for Svarik. He left, and, indeed, couple minutes later, he returned, with Sage and Hans alike.

"So now only that actor is missing..." Svarik said. "Can you let a guard bring him to the audience room? We will let him wait there for a while."

Hans nodded, and he sent the message for king's order to be put in place, and for actor to be sent to audience room and, guarded, wait for them. Tide nodded at it quietly, but did not say any word of protest, knowing that it is fair.

Svarik slowly dress in his formal clothes and combed him hair before going to the audience room. He asked Melody to keep an eye on Yiska and Sunshine and for an increaded effect let Hans and Sage go first, and entered the room only a moment after them.

The guards, as ordered, have indeed brought an actor to the room. He was waiting there, brought to his knees, for the king's judgement.

When the guards woke him, it seemed to Senecio like the night was a dream. Both his hand and head hurt quite a bit, and he wasn't sure what was real and what not, snce Tide was nowhere near. And so, when Svarik entered, he was looking resigned, having convinced himself that the sentence will be death, to not have a false hope crushed.

Hans had a face of iron, much like Conrad's would be, when he was angry - his beautiful features did not betray his thoughts, as he enjoyed seeing actor sweat a little more. Sage was not of such nature to enjoy cruelty, but this time, he was silent as well, giving king time to pass the sentence as he sees fit.

After meadow king, step in step, entered first Erdel, and then Tide as well. Vampire was silent, and he was observing actor underneath the eye cautiously, while Tide was just silent, his mask, at least, in this, coming in rather useful, as his expression was under it and from his gestures nothing could be read - it was not easy for him, but he felt, it was only fair to Svarik, for him not to give away any sign of what was to happen before it does.

Svarik had to remember his fear for Erdel when he saw the actor, and he found some satisfaction in acting all regal and stern now. "Senecio di Parvaio," he said after a moment of watching the kneeling man from above. "You are accused of treason. It us a grave crime and I will pass the sentence now, in the presence of these witnesses."

Svarik nodded slightly as well, and then proclaimed: "You sentence is the loss of Lorenzo's patronage with the prohibition to accept any other patron before I allow it. You will also offer your services to the Organization led by Hans and Sage, becoming their subordinate in it. For what you did yesterday, you will also write an apology latter of at least two pages to every person that was affected by your actions: Erdel, Sage, Tide, Lorenzo, Amelia, Garnet and myself. You have time until sunset to do this."
Senecio looked up with a surprised frown, the sentence not being what he expected. "Are you... sure?" he asked hoarsely, suspecting some cruel joke.

" Yes, we are quite sure, unfortunately. " Hans told to him, with voice practical, void of emotions. " In addition to above mentioned, king agreed to allow me, in name of apology to patron you wronged, to pick eight plays for you to perform, two each week, in next four months - exactly amounth of time you wasted of Lorenzo 's care and friendship. I will chose them myself - four shall be really awful, and four shall be really great but demanding. I expect you to play them all to your very best, in name of a patron who treated you more kindly than you returned him. Do this, and I will consider your shame mmade up for. That is all from me. "

Senecio looked at them all in turn, still suspecting someone will start to laugh and say it was a joke and he's going to be executed, finally stopping at Tide last.

With his gaze, tense and insecure, Tide at last could not keep to himself. He did not speak up, as he did not feel he had right to brake seriousness of the moment, but he smiled a little, and he shyly and inconspicuously gave him a nod while fixing his mask in place, timidly, as if it was a best silent sign of reassurance he could come up with right now.

Senecio watched him for a moment longer, and then finally relaxed a little. "And I can just... go home? Or what should I do now?" he asked.

" Right now, you should get to writing the apology letters you were assigned to. " Erdel replied quietly. " And, as far as I am concerned, there should be a strict hand to make sure your punishment is going accordingly, which means, that you are not slacking of from it, or trying to run away to evade it. "

" I agree. " Hans said. " For at least few weeks, you'll be in our custody. You'll be given a room here, and you'll be forbidden to leave the mansion without escort for that time. If you behave well and cause no troubles in that time, and prove yourself to us enough so we can trust you shan't try any malice no more - then you'll be allowed to go home. "

Senecio nodded almost eagerly.
"You are dismissed to make those arrangements," Svarik said, wishing to end this already and be free to go to the 4th city.

" We don't know which room to assign him to, yet, and he should start writing soon. I have writing supplies in my room. Besides, somebody has to keep watch over him, to make sure he does what he was told. " Tide suggested shyly. " I wouldn't mind, I have nothing to do, anyway. "
" Really? " Hans narrowed eyes at him suspiciously and looked between him and actor intently for a moment, underneath his gaze, demon blushing a little.
" Really. " he just said timidly but firmly, and Hans nodded tiredly, it seeming more was said between them with it, than was obvious. They stared at each other intently for couple seconds, before Hans at last looked away and shrugged.
" Alright... I'll allow it. " Spirit accepted in the end begrudgingly. " But if even for a moment, he makes you uncomfortable, I will have him removed to other room with some other guard immediately. You can take him with you, now, I am going to get some work of my own done. "
"Thank you. " demon smiled, and, after he warmly and pleasantly bid goodbye to king and everyone, he gestured to Senecio to follow him back to his room.

Svarik left to change into some less noble clothes so that he wouldn't draw attention in the city and Senecio followed a few step behind Tide, not daring to say anything until they were alone. "Thank you," he said then. "I didn't believe you will manage to convince the king.."

" I would really like to take credit for that.. " Tide aid slowly, but could not lie." But I told you. King is a very kind soul. He wanted to give you second chance, too. I did plead for you, but this decision was already made last night. Erdel was first who pleaded for you, anyway, Hans told me. " He seemed timid with that." I was only second to do so... ain't sure if I deserve much credit for that then, I fear..."

" Because he is a good man. Both of them are." Tide said quietly, looking out for Senecio 's opinion." King is a good person, who does not desire blood spent in vain.. And Erdel is soft hearted and kind, a man of exelent qualities. I am proud of him. He deserves all best in life, much more, than he was given... I am going to have to figure out something nice to do for him, to treat him. "

" You better start believing it. " Tide suddenly tensed a little and took a little vulnerable step back, and Senecio could see he grew somehow insecure, as if actor's tone made him a little fearful that man wanted to take back what they agreed on yesterday, to pretend it did not happen, so he wouldn't have to be with him. " Don't... you dare dump me before we even tried to work it out. You said you wanted to date me. No...  going back now. " Senecio could hear a note of sadness in critter's hoarse voice. " It was real, to me. I know you was a bit drunk, but least you can do sober is give it a chance. "

Tide was still tense, as if, faced with many prior rejections, he was still subconsciously afraid that he was to be dumped somehow - that saying yes to relationship, too good to be true, may have been, in the end, a cruel joke.
" You feel asleep on the boat.. I did not have heart to wake you. " Tide whispered quietly, looking at the floor, as if he found it particularly interesting. " I carried you back here, and left you on my bed to sleep, and then went to wait for meadow king to wake up, to bid for your life. I was told not to speak with you or see you before sentence is passed, but I knew I had wrapped you in my cloak as you slept - I hoped, when you see it, you'd know... "
