Svarik pulled a chair to the table and just sat down next to them, content to watch them work without speaking much as the talks with several Beings in a row have exhausted his reserves for social interactions.

Eros must have felt he was out of energy for everything, and he just let him keep them company without forcing needless greetings. Jake, who knew him, knew he had to be pretty much worked to the bone to not be in the mood to talk or work with them, so he just nodded lightly to him and kept working.
Eros also wasn't nosy or talkative - despite he must have felt Jake was at a rather troubling point in his life, he also felt the man was not in the mood to discuss his issues and that it would only head to bad outcome. Rather, he judged it is best for him right now to just have some company and someone he knows at his side, so he focused on helping him, the love he poured into snacks being so strong it was almost palpable. Both him and Jake spoke few works but worked well in unison, but whenever they would finish a batch of cookies or finish mixing some good tasty filling, they would take a part of it aside and put it before Svarik, not addressing him, just giving him sweets and letting him relax without burdens. |

Svarik nibbled on the treats and watched them work, finding it rather soothing. When it was getting close to the time Conrad was supposed to wake, he thanked Eros and Jake and took a tray on which he gathered some ready meals that he knew Conrad enjoyed.

He knocked, and Tide opened the door to him, letting him enter readily. Eros indeed, when having an anchor, seemed to have enough experience to perfectly time things. As five hours were nearing any moment now, while still asleep, Falcon was turning and fidgeting a little, as if, unused to distance from Simbel who was helping with his sleep in last months, he was having some trouble sleeping on his own, and now that Eros's influence was wearing off it was just a matter of minutes before he wakes up.

Svarik just put the tray on the table and sat down on the floor where Conrad could see him, leaning his back on the bed.

It took a bit until a man came to his senses, after a deep sleep that Eros put him through. He flinched suddenly, as if it dawned on him he is not in a familiar surrounding, but when he remembered where he was, he collected himself and looked around, rubbing his eyes... he stopped immediately when his gaze fell on Svarik. While certainly surprised, his expression softened almost immediately with the sight, and he snorted a little, still a little bit like he had a bit of a hangover with the unusual sleeping pattern.
" I did not know... sunflowers can grow from carpets these days... how peculiar evolutionary path... " he commented spontaneously with a suppressed yawn. |

"Sunflowers can grow in a lot of places," Svarik smiled and got up from the floor.
Administrator
" Well, I hope this particular sunflower wasn't growing on the floor for too long, or I'd give it a good scolding, " Man straightened a little, measuring Svarik carefully as if focusing to see how he could be feeling, remembering the last thing that happened before they parted. " On the same note, did Eros make you cry or not? " he asked nonchalantly, but there was a streak of worry he didn't bother hiding in his voice. " You know me, just asking so I can make a mental note which one of you two is at the top of the mischievous list for today... "

Svarik shook his head. "It was a nice talk, no tears. Then we were in the kitchen with Jake, I just came a while ago."
Administrator
" A nice talk... " Falcon wondered, as it seemed he really wanted to ask what it was about but didn't want to push it since Svarik was so unspecific. But then another thing caught his eye and with surprise he looked through the window." Wait... How long was I asleep? Why is it dark outside? You should have woken me up..." He murmured unhappily, estimating how much is left of the day." I wanted you to use up the most of the holiday and have as much good time as you can..." He sighed." It's really a pity that you spent a whole one day of your vacation stuck in the house... "
Administrator
"Not really," Svarik smiled mysteriously. "I got quite a lot done, actually. But I reserve the right to keep you in curiosity, for once."

Falcon narrowed his eyes a little at him, as if trying his best to figure it out, but it seemed he restrained himself in the last moment.
" Well... As much as I have an urge to begin a small local investigation in your movements... I will let you have this one smug moment today, since yesterday ended so poorly. " he said in the end, but he seemed discontent, as if having an itch he can't scratch. " It's just... I don't know.. an... Inadequate feeling. " He murmured, taking of the blanket and begining to fold it. " I mean, you should have woken me up. I expected you would, after the talk with Eros. I mean, I know I asked you to meet around with other Beings and gather information for the future, but I sort of hoped... we would be doing it together while I am here... " |
Administrator
"Well, I think it can be said that it was just a continuation of the talk with Eros. We just went to a few shops. What did you want to do together?"
Administrator
" Going through a few shops with you?" Falcon teased a little." No, seriously... I noticed you suck at buying quality things for yourself. You only bought some souvenirs last time you were here, and they were reasonably priced, but they were not for you, so I brought a lot of money from home and wanted to lead you through lot of shops and buy you things you like but can't convince yourself is not expensive," he explained simply, while stretching a little bit, chasing off sleepiness - yet, he seemed reassured as he added, misunderstanding situation." But if it's a continuation of the talk... Then it's a different thing. It's a talk about love, so I wasn't planning to pry, but it was about how you were bothered by your current seperation with Lipka, right? You should have said so," he said with a clearer expression." I can clearly imagine many kinds of gifts between you two you would be too embarrassed to have me buy with you. It's just important to me you weren't doing something you know I would like doing with you. Now that you have recovered more, our time together is more limited and I want us to spend it well... "

"I really don't think you missed much," Svarik smiled. "And I actually got something for myself last time I was here, but it didn’t arrive yet. I couldn't let Xia carry a huge harp, especially when it would take the place of supplies for Cernunnos. So I think I've had enough of shopping. I'd rather like to go to the sea and walk on the beach a bit."
Administrator
" Really? Haven't you been walking the beach last time you were here? It'd have to be boring and less dramatic by now, when the sun's set already, " Falcon was unsure, watching through the half-closed window as he stood up. " But if you're sure, okay. Erdel's not here, which is inconvenient, so we'll have to ask some Being to keep a look from the distance - I am not letting you go five inches outside the mansion without at least one reasonably strong supernatural entity close by, especially at night. But if that can be arranged, we can go to the beach, if you'd like. The place doesn't really matter, as long as you're not bored with it, and it's safe for you. Oh, and you have to dress well since nights can be chilly. I packed you a good cloak among our things, so if we're going out it's a must... "
Administrator
"I thought you're a reasonably strong almost supernatural entity," Svarik teased. "I'd like to see the sea at night. It feels different than during the day, more mysterioud. And sure, I'll take the cloak."
Administrator
" Yeah, I am pretty strong, but I have to carry a regular sword since I don't want to offend critters here with a sword that's used specifically to attack soul in order to kill Beings. It feels like I am more demoted supernatural entity without it, though, " Falcon admitted, but from a touch unsure, his expression seemed brightened a little as his sight fell on the tray with food Svarik brought before. He stepped toward it and traced his finger alongside the plate. " This is... new, though, " he said wonderingly, as he took a bite of meat from the side. " As far as a half-supernatural entity go, you tend to be more easily distracted and forgetful, but... I am glad you remembered I like this. "
Administrator
"I just don't often get a chance to wake before you," Svarik chuckled. "I don’t even remember when I've last seen you asleep."
Administrator
" Yeah, I know... It's weirdly unusual. " Falcon commented, picking up the tray easily with one hand, probably intending to eat on their way to their own room. " I am honestly too used to me being the one dramatically bringing us food, I am not sure how to respond. I guess... thanks? " he asked unsurely, taking a bite from the bread. " It feels a bit weird to thank you for the food since we always eat together. *I* can't quite remember when was the time when I was the one eating while you just watched, so it's a fair game to say it never happened. But I never slept for five hours straight after just one all-nighter, so I guess everything at the seaside is a bit off... "
Administrator
"Yes, maybe a little," Svarik nodded and followed Conrad to their room. "You're welcome."

Falcon smiled a little, and after they bid goodbye to Tide, they walked to their room. Falcon finished his breakfast easily in meantime, and from two cookies for dessert, he without a place for complaint took one and handed one to Svarik. When they reached the room, he brought out warmer clothes from their luggage and took special care to make sure Svarik is as well dressed as possible, as if he feared he would get sick.
They stopped by shortly first in the kitchen, so he would pack some snacks, just in case, as he said, and then they stopped shortly by Captain of Guard, to ask for Being to take an eye on them just in case, before, with all other preparations ready just in case, with no precaution left out, they finally left the mansion. |

As they stopped in the kitchen, Svarik took them hot drinks in a bottle and also packed a lantern. Then they already headed towards the sea that look almost pitch black under the night sky, just white crests of waves visible on it.

Conrad let Svarik carry the lantern, so, having light closer to him, he would have an easier time walking in the dark. He carried all their baggage instead, as well as a sword at his side, even in this case where nothing should happen, not willing to leave anything to luck. He seemed to grow calmer, though, farther from the city crowd and other people they went.
He did not need to check the ground as they walked, walking with confidence, and his eyes were at the horizon, where the start sky was meeting the sea. He seemed thoughtful, but also calmer than before, in the room where other people were present too. When they began walking upon the beach, without thinking about it, he put his hand on Svarik's arm, helping him walk easier against steeper stones of the shore so he wouldn't slip. |

Svarik was suddenly very aware of the touch, and he leaned into it just a little while they walked. When they stopped, he put the lantern on the ground and sat down on his cloak, watching the sea.
