Svarik and the company I :)

[VisAnastasis]

" *Xia**want**Svarik**joying*. " critter repeated her request firmly and simply. She did not take winged form then, but a common fox one, it being one easiest for her to move in quickly and agily. In that form she went to a shelf where their things were, and from it, she carefully took toy soldiers Cernunnos gifted her into her mouth, and brought them to meadow king, placing the now slimmy wooden toys in his lap. It did not seem enough, though, so she brought him more of them, and she brought a biggest ripest red apple from a bowl aside, and then, wagging her tail the same, she continued and dug out from their bag and brought before Svarik a bag of half eaten rainbow cookies, left from their picnic... And then went on to look some more, hopefully...

Creature was looking around the room, seeking for things to add to pile, with a bit of hesitance, as if she was wondering what all to chose, to bring, in her desire to do this - apparently, she felt very touched by king's care and making of tea he knew was pleasant for her... and she wanted to respond to him by doing something for him that she knew was pleasant to him and would make him feel good. But since she interpreted that he refused flight with her this time, and she wasn't quite sure if he's liking the things she's bringing, she seemed little at loss, searching through room like a little curious fluff, innocently wondering what she could possibly give him, anything, to return his care the same way, not wanting to accept anything less.

[Mirach]

"Wait, you want to give this to me to cheer me up, or to bribe me into going to fly with you?" Svarik asked with some amusement, not quite understanding Xia's intention.

[VisAnastasis]

" *Svarik*...* feeling*... *good*?" Xia turned to a child form to sign signed hesitantly and shyly at him, as she didn't understand his question, and wasn't sure now how to tell him what she meant of it, as it was personal to her. Little fox child then remembered a bit, and she shyly came back to him, and she observed him for a moment with gentle timid devotion, before she nudged his chest, in same way that she did the day they met when she licked away the blood from nasty wound on his chest, and she then raised her little soft paw hesitantly, and lightly patted his beard, in same way he cleaned her from the blood and helped her feel better that day in return. She purred timidly, as if in question, and king could see desire in her eyes - she knew he had been through lot of pain in last days, too, and wanted to do something for him in her excitements and gratefulness for his food care of her, desiring to ease his suffering and ease his heart like she did when they met, to make his feel good - but this was above physical injury, and she did not know how to soothe him, but to give him toys and food, like a well meant, but in itself, not really effective balm.

[Mirach]

"Good," Svarik nodded with the sign. "Guarding Melody," he pointed to the sleeping spirit maiden, using the word Xia understood. "What she wakes, we will go flying, alright?"

[VisAnastasis]

Xis looked at the sleeping maiden with some thoughtfulness, as if wondering about something.
"*Svarik* *not**felling*good**Melody**sleep*..." she shook her head. "*Svarik**feel**good**Melody**wakes*?" she asked then slowly, as she seemed to slowly understand that's one of the thing bothering Svarik, and he can't quite relax with her friend being asleep like this, before she is awake and well.

[Mirach]

Svarik thought for a moment how to explain. He slipped into sign language too, so she would undestand him better. *Svarik*feeling*good*, he signed. And then: *Melody*not*feeling*good*Svarik*away*

Xia nodded slowly. She gazed upon Melody then, appearing rather thoughtful, as she slowly seemed to pay attention to sleeping girl for the first time, really, as she sow her a little before, but did not establish a bond with her. She understood girl is important for Svarik, thought.
Child slowly walked to the bed, and she observed sleeping girl as if trying to figure out what is wrong with her.

[Mirach]

Svarik signed *Melody playing flute* and *Svarik feeling better* to explain Xia what happened and why he wants to watch over Melody.

[VisAnastasis]

Xia nodded slowly, taking that revelation seriously as she understood the connection, that Melody did for Svarik same thing Svarik did for Sea Deity and Cernunnos using music. She observed little girl for a moment, before she smiled a little.
" *Xia**loving**Melody*." she proclaimed simply then in sign language to mark her approval of the king's ancestress' help, and slowly and little hesitantly, she climbed up on the bed, as if trying to see the girl better.

[Mirach]

Svarik smiled a little and sat down on the edge of the bed.

[VisAnastasis]

Xia observed Melody intently, as if trying to sense something within young Spirit's soul. And then, suddenly she glanced at Svarik, and grinned at him, as if she got some idea on how to treat Svarik with something nice.

And the next moment, carefully and slowly picking and building up to a new form, there was a tender light glow around her, as she disappeared, and reappeared again, clothed in new body. This time, it was clearly inspired by Tide's huge but soft chubby form - for it had both Xia's brightness of sun, and something deeper, more mysterious and whimsical, a little galaxy of distant glowing stars woven within her fur.

Majestic creature lied down on the bed, and enveloped Melody slowly in its tail of soft cotton. It was one of the moments where one could easily forget Xia was but a youngling child demon, seeing magnificence and delight in form that would take a demon that is born, not made, long time to develop and grow into. It was truly a magical experience, to witness yet another impressive look inspired by someone whom she grew to like and who kept watch over her through the whole night and was teaching her so many new words.

It was not only look that she had that resembled Tide's lightly. Somewhere deep within, there were light gentle fingerprints upon her soul - Svarik could see Tide and Llyr both must had given young creature their blessings. As she enveloped Melody in her soft fur, she started to purr, and Melody shivered a little with it. This didn't seem quite like Xia's common purr, marking her satisfaction - it seemed to echo from somewhere deep within the creature, a center of her essence, from same place that was giving her her whistling voice. Svarik could see how Melody, in her sleep, seemed confused with sudden conflicting feelings it brought - but, without waking, she in the end leaned into Xia's touch in her sleep, as it seemed the frequency of the purring had some specific soothing pattern to Spirits, something demoness must had learned from Lllyr and Tide. It took focus from fox demon, and it took her to desire to give something of herself to another helpless creature, but Svarik could see some of Xia's music flowing lightly into Melody, nourishing the sleeping Spirit that slept still and trembled a little from time to time, but whose breathing got more peaceful, and her pose, as she leaned calmly on Xia's fluffy tail, grew more relaxed and trustful, resting there while color was slowly returning to her cheeks, faster than it would happen if she was just left to lie on bed without external aid.

[Mirach]

Svarik leaned closely over Xia and caressed her fur. "Thank you," he whispered into her ear.

[VisAnastasis]

Critter fluffed up a little, as she seemed very pleased and proud of herself, as she understood that this was something she rightfully guessed would be * joying* Svarik, something with which she could return his care by giving care to another. She kept focusing and purring soothingly, nourishing Melody through her touch and purring, and king could feel from within how indeed the little subtle treatment was easing Melody's soul and helping her feel much better and relax, so she could regain her strength sooner, with this unexpected gentle nourishment similar to some kind of primordial ancient lullaby. Erdel came closer and sat down at the bed too, observing what Xia was doing intently and quietly, as if trying to see if he can learn anything from it.

[Mirach]

Svarik kept caressing Xia as she purred and after a while he lied down next to her as well, using the chance to get some more rest.

[VisAnastasis]

Xia shifted so both him and Melody were comfortable in hold of her soft cotton like furr, and she kept purring, gently and with love. Erdel brought a soft warm blanket from the shelf, and he took freedom to bring it to Svarik and shyly wrap him up gently in it, so he would be more comfortable while relaxing, too, as king before was one who made sure two of the demons were comfortable while relaxing instead. There was devotion and love in that gesture, and it seemed to be something deeply engraved into demons, not just into good character of Erdel - to always have a strong passionate drive to return kindness with kindness, as was case with both Tide, Willow and Cernunnos.

[Mirach]

Svarik was lulled to sleep with it, still feeling the exhaustion from the alst day when he could stop thinking about other things.

[VisAnastasis]

Former vampire and fox demon kept a faithful watch over them, soothing them, and making sure they are safe for all the time they slept, giving them space to regain their spent strength.

[Mirach]

Svarik has always neglected his need for rest after playing for others, and now when he was the one who received a song and Xia's purring helped him relax, it caught up with him, and he slept on until he was woken by Melody stirring next to him.

[VisAnastasis]

It was already evening, and a nightfall by that moment - Melody really seemed to need lot of rest, as she had given all she could to the song that went so deep within a soul. Even then, she only woke up so soon, thanks to Xia's help. When Svarik opened his eyes, he sow her, sleepy and getting to her senses only slowly. Erdel, who could sense girl will wake soon, had brought big tray of food for her at a table, but right now, he was instead supporting her from a side and helping her drink from a bottle of warm spiced milk he made for her, and she was drinking, faintly but deeply, thirsty after a long sleep.

[Mirach]

Svarik waited after she finished drinking. "How do you feel?" he asked then.

[VisAnastasis]

Girl's look fell on him, and being not distracted with her thirst sated, she smiled at him fondly, with a frail smile of a dying bird.
" Sort of bad. That is to say, I have a mental image of a Birdie that's giving me a good scolding, and it's in turn giving me an awful headache... " she grinned jokily, and extended her little hand weakly toward him. " But it's terrible, only if you're unwell, my beloved... Do you feel unwell? Was it too deep? " she asked, sleepily, but with worry. " Did it hurt too much, my dearest child? "

[Mirach]

"It hurt, but it is well now," Svarik said. "It feels like a great relief. Like the hurt is still there, but it finally started healing... But Conrad will really be worried by now, for both of us..."

[VisAnastasis]

" Don't worry about Birdie... As soon as I found out what you sought from me, I told Sage to send message to Birdie. " she smiled little sadly. " I told him I will play for you, and I told him to cross us fingers and wish us good luck. Besides, he's Birdie. He will always worry about each smallest thing, but he sent you here with Xia and Erdel, and he sent you to his friends... " she murmured sleepily, and she slowly extended her hand to the fluffy Xia, and caressed her face lightly, as if to thank her. " He knows he did all he could to keep you safe,and that rest is up to you... And he believes in you... "

[Mirach]

"So he knew that you would stay here longer?" Svarik asked with some relief. "In that case, would you like to stay with us for a day or two more?"

[VisAnastasis]

" If Sage is ever so generous with his hospitality, yes, I would like to stay. " girl replied to him gently. " I would love to see you feeling better and breathing easier, and besides, I think some time on his own would do good to Birdie too. Instead of focusing on himself, he uses scraps of little bits of his free time to come up with half-skilled songs to court me. " she smiled shyly, but little more brightly, as if on  pleasant memory. " Seriously, my dearest Mister Sunshine, I already knows I do love him, and he wrote and played me two songs in the span of a week... It's getting embarrassing. Maybe he gives himself some brake, if he can't use making me songs as excuse to not have time for himself. I do hope so. "
