Svarik and the company I :)

[VisAnastasis]

" Your decision brings ease to my heart. I wouldn't force you to stay, my kind guests, but I find great relief in fact I'll sent you of tomorrow when day comes, then if I worried if you escaped terrors of the night safely. " Child seemed especially glad with it, and he bowed to king with gentle smile. " Father would worry greatly about your safety too... I am much obliged to you for deciding wisely. I will make sure warm and good room await you when you get back for the night. "

[Mirach]

"Thank you," Svarik bowed his head. "It gives us more time with your father today, and a chance to learn making this brew you mentioned tonight."

[VisAnastasis]

" I couldn't be happier. Here's the key, kind guest. Don't forget to return a little before sundown. " boy said gently. As they left animals with him, Erdel helped Svarik carry the big bag with supplies they wanted to Cernunnos, while Xia followed them outside, like always since they met, no losing sight from Svarik and walking step in step with him.

[Mirach]

Once outside, Svarik wished Erdel good luck, and flew with Xia to the other side.

[VisAnastasis]

Vampire bowed to him with respect, thanking him once again quietly - before they parted, and he himself disappeared from king's gaze,  slipping through the layers to go hunting further away from the fort.

[Mirach]

Svarik knocked on the door of the fortress before unlocking it and entering, to let Cernunnos know that they are here. 

[VisAnastasis]

Xia helped him, carrying the bag in her mouth. They had to walk for a little bit, before from a corner, they felt the familiar ethereal presence. Shyly, the creature peeked out to see and meet them again. He appeared rather exhausted and there was some weakness lingering deep in his bones and his form seemed rather feeble, but despite it, his eyes were glistening as he greeted them with frail wave of a hand, as if he was anxious a little that they maybe changed their mind and wouldn't come, and he was delighted to see them again.

[Mirach]

"Greetings, Cernunnos," Svarik bowed his head. "We came again, and brought a proper gift this time. Erdel will come as well in a few hours, after taking care of something."

[VisAnastasis]

" A gift? You.. Shouldn't have... " Cernunnos's voice trembled a little, as he hesitantly came closer, appearing a little shy with Erdel gone, as if he was recollecting the previous day, wondering if he did something to offend his guests and if that's why vampire avoided him.

[Mirach]

"It's nothing big or precious," Svarik shook his head. "We did not know we will get to meet you on our journey, so we didn't take anything like that. It's just some of our supplies to thank you for your hospitality. We can get new ones in any city, and we have too much of them anyways..." he showed the bag to Cernunnos, opening it so he could see what was inside.

[VisAnastasis]

Demon looked at it hesitantly, curious and timid. When he sow so much food, his lip trembled a little and he looked confused, as if not sure what he did to deserve such generosity.

" If it comes as thanks for my hospitality, I am honored you enjoyed it so much. " he smiled a little sadly, as, the way he sow it, specially compared to his glorious past when he could make grand receptions for his guests, his yesterday's hospitality seemed quite humble and pitiful by his once high standards. " I will accept it, if you  agree  to let me make you a fine lunch later from what you brought, kind youngling king. " through shyness, a little bit of gentleness and vividness shone through, while demon was observing all new ingredients that were there, brightened up a little by idea that he may be able to make something actually tasty for his guests with all variety of food Conrad and his friends packed up for Svarik so diligently.

[Mirach]

"We will gladly accept that," Svarik nodded. "Should we carry it to your room?"

[VisAnastasis]

Cernunnos measured the big bag and glanced at his hands, but then he sighed unhappily, knowing he is probably not recovered enough form the night to carry it without making himself look petty and pittiful.
" If you'd help me carry it to the living room, kind guest, I would be very much obliged. Come here, do please - I made us breakfast. " he said and waved to king gently to follow him.

[Mirach]

Svarik took the bag with Xia's help and followed Cernunnos. 

[VisAnastasis]

Creature walked slowly, still recovering, and he seemed a little shy and embarrassed about that weakness, showing in his moves and sickly paleness of his porcelain clear face. He was timid as they came into a little  living room they were in yesterday, in which he lightened up the fire probably as soon as night ended.

He asked Xia to change her form to childlike one, and once she and Svarik sat down at a table, warm from the stove, he brought two plated filled with food for both of them, with cooked potatoes, spiced with herbs and salt and with many diligently cooked and cut vegetables - and little bit of what probably was most of his vanning supplies of meat, warm and just prepared.

[Mirach]

"Thank you. Will you join us, please?" Svarik asked, worried that the demon didn't make anything for himself.

[VisAnastasis]

" I mostly eat fruit, but do you worry, i'll take some for myself. " creature smiled gently, wishing to reassure him. He filled his own plate with some leftover potatoes and vegetables, and he also took couple of fruit, and he sat down on the table as well, smiling kindly to his guests to reassure them it's alright.

[Mirach]

Svarik nodded, and started eating as well together with Xia.

[VisAnastasis]

Xia ate heartily, seeming very pleased she was treated as person and given her own equal share. She ate like an excited little toddler, but soon, she seemed to suddenly realize her equal share was not quite equal to Cernunnos's, whose plate was almost laughably empty and scarce compared to theirs.
Shyly, little by little, she started conversation with ancient demon on their language, and little by little, she somehow managed to sneak in to sit in Cernunnos's lap, and from her plate, she was taking meat and food and putting it into his mouth while he was chuckling a little shyly, despite decisive to give best bites he had to his guests, not able to refuse what was in his eyes a little innocent child. He caressed her to praise her for being so thoughtful, and she was nestling with his and purring, glad she brightened up his day.

[Mirach]

Svarik smiled at her as well, and caressed her to let her know he appreciates what she's doing. 

[VisAnastasis]

Xia seemed content, feeling safe and pleased when given attention to and being in presence of both an elder she can trust in and her beloved guarding Svarik. Cernunnos also seemed excited like a child, as demons affected one another greatly, her joy making him feel brighter and happier, more free and talkative with them.
" I couldn't help you much yesterday with teaching her. Alas, we just met, and day was short. " he said once they all finished breakfast, still cuddling with the little lively creature. " I would like to make up for that, kind guest, and if you feel up to it, to teach her human language with you. "

[Mirach]

"I would appreciate that very much," Svarik bowed his head gracefully. "I was wondering, is she able to learn to understand it, or also speak it? In this form she looks like she may have vocal chords similar to human ones..."

[VisAnastasis]

" Every demon is different. Humanizing became only recent trend in both our and Spirit kin, once we all agreed human form with nice thing-capable-holding thumbs is quite useful, and also fun to accessorize with clothing. It is only some, liek, 2 million or so year old trend, if I remember right, kind guest. " Forest God explained kindly. " Some are able to take more-less human form, some not. In this form, she probably won't be able to speak with lips. I don't know yet what her creator had in mind when he built her, so I fear it would probably take much longer than one human life to learn to speak like you and I do. She needs to develop form much more humane than this one, to be capable for uttering more than simple sounds. But you may be in luck if she is as sensitive to feelings as she seems - with little luck, if she learns language, later as she matures and learns more of this world, she may slowly learn to speak to you by directing her thoughts to your mind. Once she learns to think with words and matures enough, it's most natural way for both sensitive Spirits and Demons, king guests, to speak with humans directly through appealing to their mind. " he smiled. "  I can do it, though I am much more inclined to speak with my lips, as I have spent very long time with humans and I am much more used to it. "

[Mirach]

"I didn't know she could do that... I just wanted to figure out if it will be better to teach her sign language together with the words, or if she will be able to speak some other way. I already discussed it with Erdel, but I would like to know what you think as well about the best way how to teach her, and about what we can do now..."

[VisAnastasis]

" I as well existed for long time without need to learn any language. Actually, first speaking language I had learned, by the odds, was Spirit language, from my Spirit friend of that time, Time Lord. Only much later, I learned human tongue, but the principle should be the same. How many words does she know by now? " he bid. " If it's little, then everything that can help you tell each other what you want from one another would be best. Names of objects, directions, names for things you often want her to do, names for things she wants from you, like toys, food, clothes, attention... You need to have those words, so she knows that when she needs something you can understand and provide. I have seen that adorable little square she makes for books.. " Cernunnos smiled more widely at that. " She needs more of those things, kind guests. More ways to articulate what she loves and what she cares about. Yes, sign language may be best idea, until she matures... She is in specific case, as she has greatly developed and strong power many adults of her stature can only envy off, but barely any life experience. I do not know how long it will take until she can voice herself, but until she does, developing sign language for her may be best thing you can do, sire. "
