Senecio looked up slowly. "Do not plead for my life then," he whispered. "Just ask him to give me a week or two... It is more likely that he will fulfill that."

" No. " Tide just shook his head, simply and solemnly, making sure he can look into his eyes clearly this once, to see in that that his mind is made up, and his determination is pure and honest. " I will plead for you life still.This changes nothing. You have awful taste in men, liking me and all, yes, but that already is not a crime. " he grinned brightly at him. " True, you should be punished for your misdoings, but you should live past that... You are a good lad, and I am fond of you. I want you to live, and I will settle for no less than your life. "

"And you think you can just negotiate my life and then proceed to die?" Senecio frowned. "Can't you just give the king this shell and then hide somewhere?"

[VisAnastasis]

Tide waved away with his injured hand. " This is more serious than it looks... Injuries like those can corrupt if left unattended to get worse. That's why I need to rest it out. " he smiled a bit. " And Hans's plan was, for us to go on the run, as soon as my injury starts getting better... But this... " he waved away with his hand to encompass the beach, sea, stars, and Senecio's company. " This does change things. " his eyes grew sad as he added, with eyes teary, but voice firm with determination. " I do not want to leave. Long distance relationships just ever so rarely work out. If by the cruel twist of fate, world has given me a chance to earn love truly only in autumn of my life, then by all the Gods, and all that is holy... " he said passionately and fiercely, with simple sincerity and sparkles in his eyes, that indeed made it feel so, that the world was trembling with his words. " I will just love thee while I can, and leave rest up to faith. That is how I chose. "

"Can't you leava and take me with you?" Senecio asked desperately. "I don't have anyone else here..."

Tide observed him for a moment, somehow sadly, compassionately. Then, he slowly shook his head.
" I know... Loneliness can be tough. I know it more than the most. " he said then gently and slowly, as if trying to find best way, best, words, to connect with him, to help him understand his opinions. " You speak out of loneliness, not reason, right now. I am flattered, really. It seems like you really do like me, and maybe it's just my dumb luck, maybe it's the wine... " critter teased shyly. " But loving, meant wishing best for someone. Best, for you, you beautiful, silliest sweet human, would not be to tear you out of the ground, like a ill flower. This land is still your home. I am fugitive, you are not. You should remain, and grow, grow even more sweet than you're now. " he grinned bit more, though his eyes were sad. " I can not, possibly, and would not ever, ask from you to leave all that you have ever known, to lead an uncertain life, for me. We just met, after all - who says, when you get to know me better, you won't see I am not quite your type? " Tide noted, with apparently heavy heart, but with sincerity. " I would only wish you to stick by my side for love, not because you no longer have a way out.  I will not have you stay in toxic relationship, mind you. You are so talented, and good looking... You honestly could have done way better than me.... like, I have no idea how you're even single, at all. " the blush across' demon's face was considerable, and if embarrassment could kill... Well, he'd already be dead. " That is why I do not want you to cut ties with everything you ever was. You have aspirations as actor, I like that. It is good to have dreams..." he coughed. " You should live them. You really love acting, I can see, and wherever I go, I doubt I'd have any acting fame to give you, maybe often, not even dinner. I can not take you.... So why can you not... Indulge my selfishness, at least for a little while, please? I would just wish to stay. Do not dump me, just because our odds are not too good. You wouldn't dump a terminally ill person, would you? You would still deep down hope, that they'd somehow recover.... I too, feel terminally ill, at my own hand... but I guess I have a hope, that it may be well... but I guess.. I ask too much from you...  "

"Yes, I do like acting, but that's about the only tie I have here..." Senecio said. "I don't want you to stay because of me when you could flee and save yourself. As you said, maybe it won't even work in long term. Why wouod you want to die because of some toxic relationship? Or intoxicated, more likely, with the wine and the painkiller..."

[VisAnastasis]

Tide chucked with unexpected comparison.  
" True to the point, that statement is.. But truth is as well... Death, with this shell, will most certainly want answers as t its origin, not to even mention apple of Life itself I will send him, and all advises I gave to meadow king as to how to better his chances. And when he does, he will know where I lived, and pick up my aura lingering here... And they say, you can run, but you can not escape Death, you know? " he laughed, but somewhere deep down, lad could see that demon, that powerful creature... was terrified, before image of former Spirit King, haunting his thoughts. " He can see future, and he is as ever present in world as air, water or earth. They say, if he sets of to seek you, you are gone. He is purger of my kin, he is destroyer of all hope. The moment I remembered this shell, the moment I decided to offer it for his health - I knew I run out of time to run. " demon whispered, already more quietly. " Fleeing Death... It is just a dream. Hans thinks it's possible, if we hide in some hole or who knows where, for hundreds years or so, but I do not. I feel like I am a dead demon, anyway, but all.. this.. came so suddenly... " he admitted. " I just acted so freely with you, because I never ever thought, someone like you, would like someone like me... it was so unexpected.... and I guess... " he lost his voice for a moment, before he heavily added. " I guess... I dare to hope I may live... Because living past this autumn would be so sweet. "

[Mirach]

"Then you have a motivation to figure out how to cheat Death," Senecio said. "It's like in a play. Love is stronger than death, is the theme of every second one. In every first everybody dies..." he smiled wryly. "We will see which one we are in."

[VisAnastasis]

" This particular Death is much less symbolic, and more terrifying and powerful, than some little death from a play... But I guess we will see. " Tide nodded slowly. " I can promise I will try, though I can not promise you I will succeed... I am not that good deceiver, to be honest. It was always Hans. He was the smart, cool guy, I was just a mysterious sidekick that tagged along in his glorious ruses and master plans... " he admitted. He sighed, and was quiet for a moment, embracing his knees thoughtfully. " I can only promise to try. That is why, I wish to ask you again, in light of you knowing this - and you don't have to answer right away. You can answer after a good sleep, when you feel less, um, intoxicated. " he gulped. " I think... We are an unlikely pair... But you are single, and I am single, and we both are willing. If we want to make it work, who says we can't? I sure as hell won't tear you out of your current life and successful carrier for this, but this much, I feel I can ask... Despite all this peril and nuisance... Will, you, um... Hm.. Do you want to... Will you date me? " he just asked, simply and straightforwardly, albeit shy, wanting to get a clear answer. " No running of into sunset after barely meeting for few hours, like is some silly play...No dramatic I-will-die-if-you-die phases. We already have too little time, to include that cliche  drama plot. " he tried to smile faintly, though his lips did not obey. " Will you just date me, so we can try our chances, and see if we have more luck than smarts, and if we can get steady? "

[Mirach]

"I agree, it's better to keep the drama for the stage. I would really like to date you. But please, do not tell about it anyone when you negotiate for my life tomorrow. They will think I deceived you into it..."

[VisAnastasis]

" Yes, I guess they would think so... Though, to be honest, I think it's faily wrong to say you seduced me, I mean... " suddenly he raised his eyebrows as he looked back at the night, as he realized. " Actually... I think I actually may have seduced you... accidentally... " he got little flustered, adjusting his collar with some embarrassment. " I mean... ride on a boat... romantic night under the stars.. " he face palmed himself timidly. " Um, sorry, I mean, it wasn't meant like that. I wasn't trying anything... I mean, I was trying, but not to seduce you or something, just to help you out and make you feel nice. I am sorry if it came out the wrong way. But I do like you. "

[Mirach]

"Wrong?" Senecio smiled a little. "I think it came out just right, whatever was your intention."

[VisAnastasis]

" I like helping out. I am not really religious... But, sometimes, I feel, fate just sprinkles some people into my life, so I can help them, and for those instances when I can leave world a little better behind me, I am thankful. I could see in your eyes when you asked for me, that you had no one else to turn to and are in need. That's why I wanted to help you, if I can. " he just explained, as earnest as ever. "No matter how our dating turns out in the end, I will still help you. I will see tomorrow, when I talk with the king, which path is the right one - he is sweet and sentimental, after all. " critter grinned lovably suddenly, as he was taking the lute with some excitement. " I told you. I was given quite good foundation to be the villain of my story... But that's just such an easy way out. It's too cliche, for me. I don't want to force. All I desire is to leave world better than I found it. "

"I think you are doing well..." Senecio said quietly, and offered him his healthy hand curiously.

[VisAnastasis]

Critter took it, and he placed lute in lad's lap, so man could hold it more comfortably and play the most of the cords around based, while he himself sat down close by shyly, so he could with his healthy hand press down the neck of the lute to get needed notes.
He first tried out moving Senecio's fingers a little bit with his gift of bending. It felt strange, as if someone was pulling some invisible strings on him, but it did not hurt. When he assured actor is not uncomfortable with it, demon grinned widely, and he started to play, using their hands, restlessly upon the beautiful instrument... And then, it felt as it time stopped, and there was nothing but music, as he started to sing, pleasantly, warmly, and heartily, while not taking his bright, beautiful and terrifying eyes from the actor, as if he tried to give him a treat, like actor wanted to before treat him by reciting him the monologue of Flinding.

Senecioleaned his head on Tide's shoulder as he listened, and he indeed wept with it, with the overwhelming mix of emotions that was this night.

[VisAnastasis]

Tide was smiling a little, with the inherent sincerity of that act, it seeming to be a treat for him as much as the song was for Senecio.
When the song ended, he gradually stopped the chords, and he stopped controlling the lad's hand politely. As politely, he just dared timidly, to lightly to pat his hair then, allowing his comforting gesture to be colored with fondness.

[Mirach]

Senecio understood with it that they will have to leave soon. "Can't we just stay here?" he whispered.
