Senecio adn Tide II

" I will write it down for you, " Tide promised earnestly." Would you like me to give you blessings now? Or would you rather leave it for some other day before you leave? It's not really taxing on the body, it is just something that needs a bit of practice to get used to. But you are both listeners so I think you will get it easily. "
" How about teaching them instead of letting them figure it out?" Hans, who was quietly observing the exchange, voiced his opinion reluctantly. " I have water and some fruits stored in my endless bag for emergencies. The boat is sturdy and firm. I can just give you a cutting board and you can teach sir Svarik how to make ice cream to pass the time until we arrive at the Forth city. It's more fun to learn while eating than by reading, after all...."

[Mirach]

"And I don't have any blessings to offer," Senecio said, "but I took my makeup suitcase in case you would like to try it. I did it for Tide, Hans and Alpha so that we match as a group. YOu don't need to match with us, of course, but I thought you might want to try," he said, looking not only at Svarik but also Conrad, Melody and Jake.

" Wouldn't it be lovely if we match? " Melody responded with a little smile, despite Senecio tried to hurt Svarik when they met, showing goodwill by being the readiest to accept his efforts. She turned toward the rest of her group gently, " It would be harder to find the matching colours, since, unlike Tide, Hans and Senecio, we wary more in looks, but isn't the challenge more fun, anyway? "
" Well, I guess I am an odd one out for out aesthetics, what, with my black hair and love for dark clothes, " Falcon replied a little bemusedly, adding surprisingly leniently, despite a little hesitant in voicing his opinion, not sounding timid. " What about gold as the main colour, maybe? You and Svarik's have golden hair, so it looks good on you, and it can go well with both Jake's white clothes and my black ones. It's not really my style, but I did often use makeup for my fake identities and disguises for underground missions. I really have a nagging urge to be unreasonable and suspiciously pester you if any ingredients you have are toxic, " he admitted, indeed, a nagging feeling he had, that didn't seem filled with either resentment or hate - it more seemed like an instinctive, ridiculously deeply instilled instinct of distrust. " But it's important that Svarik and Melody have a good time today, so I'm keeping myself on the leash maximally. "

" If you're worried about that, I guess I can go first, " Jake replied last, a little bit more flustered than usual, though still echoing with his peculiar lenient attitude. " Many would correctly note that it's not really a proper etiquette, for a commoner to go around with matching makeup to the king and highest nobles... but everything is meaningless in the long run, so whatever we can do we might as well do. I won't mind easing your intrusive thoughts by going first, sir Falcon. I'm going to go buy clothes with the king of humans, in order to go to the ball with the kings of Beings, after all, " he smiled a little faintly at the absurdity of himself taking part in such a supernatural affair. " So, it's too late to be shy or have second thoughts. Life is ridiculous, so we might as well do everything, both the makeup and the ice cream, I think. If we have some fitting fruit, I can help with refining Tide's recipe. "

"I'm not going to tell you the ingredients because it's professional secret, but I can assure you they're not toxic. I've been wearing and perfecting the mixture for years, so I would have noticed," Senecio said, not realising at the moment that Conrad probably meant deliberate poisoning of the mixture. "I think gold would work really well. I like dark color schemes too, but I prefer silver. With gold, you will match together well. I'm thinking gold with black for you, a deep shade of blue for Jake, for lady Melody I have a nice shade of cold pink that would go well with gold... and for Your Majesty, I would try metallic turquoise. I could do your makeup last, so that you can make the ice cream with Tide while work on the others."

"That sounds good," Svarik nodded.

Falcon seemed a little bemused by the circumstances, but despite his innate suspicions about other people, it seemed, however he perceived Senecio, that he could not stretch it perceiving an enemy. That's why, as others were feeling positive about passing the time well, he decided to go with everyone's positive mood.
" Well, leaving Svarik for last is a good idea. He will have plenty of time to practice his blessing with the ice cream. He first needs to receive it, though. How hard it is to give it? Does it take a long time?"
" Not at all," Tide reassured." I just require your hands for a moment, and I can bless you at the same time, too, if you would feel less nervous with that. "

"Right now? Well, okay than..." Svarik offered his hands to Tide trustfully.

Tide indulged in that simple honest trustfulness, beaming with it and looking rather content, his feelings easily readable on his face too. Falcon rolled his eyes, but he did come closer and offer the demon his hand too, wanting to do this together. Tide smiled all the wider with that, watching them with fond loving gaze.

" Be blessed, little children of the world. May your path never know bitter cold, but if it does, have this warmth. May your path never be scorching heat, but if it is, have this breath of fresh air," he spoke their respective blessings gently, as if reciting a loving poem piece, putting his soft feelings into it. " May you have this, and may it bring you a lot of happy memories... " he leaned forth, and he kissed the the hands he held lightly, and with it, a little bit of something seemed to touch them, a little wave of friendliness, of Tide's essence and power, bringing a refreshing light feeling of something new - and from that moment on, they felt that they carried his blessing with them.

Svarik slowly withdrew his hand and pressed it to his heart. "Thank you."

Falcon nodded lightly too, withdrawing his hand slowly. He seemed unsure what would be proper response in the situation.
" I will make sure to find a proper way to repay you," he said in the end, and Tide chuckled, as it seemed he took both their different responses fondly. Like humans unable to resist the adorableness of small cute critters, he put one hand on Conrad's shoulder, and with the other, he unexpectedly lightly tousled Svarik's hair. There was grace and warmth in his gesture, feelings and gaze.
" You are both too cute," he whispered gently, giving them a blessing that was not supernatural this time." And you look even better together. I look forward so much, to a future you will make together. I know it will be great, and I can't wait to see it with you. That's the only payback I want. "

[Mirach]

Svarik nodded to that while Senecio was already preparing his brushes. "So, Jake," he said with an inviting gesture, "what do you think about gold and dark blue? It's just a suggestion, if you would prefer othet colours, I can do that."

[VisAnastasis]

" I have never worn makeup, so I really don't have much preferences... As long as it's not emerald green, I am good. Someone I'm on bad terns with is all around that colour, so it pisses me of a little. Everything else is peachy," cook commented a little absentmindedly, while thoughtfully watching Hans, who was taking out and presenting them comically large quantities of fruit cut and packed in jars, also taking out cutting board and some cutting tools and cooking utensils needed for ice cream Tode loved making, apparently prepared for all kinds of emergencies.

"Okay then, I'll go with the gold and blue," Senecio nodded, but he didn’t start with any of those colors, but a neutral foundation. Only after that he did a toned blue layer on Jake's eyelids, and a layet of golden ornaments over it.

While Tide, Svarik and Melody focused on making ice cream, and Conrad on remembering the recipes, Hans and Melody helped Senecio by handing him things he needed. In the end, absurdly prepared for everything, Hans took out a simple mirror and handed it to Jake. Despite his stoic attitude, in the end, seeing the skill that went into it, cook couldn't help but smile a little shyly, his distant attitude melting up a little.
" You are really good at this... I can tell you spent years perfecting your craft," he whispered quietly, looking at his reflection." It's good to have something you love doing... You should be proud of yourself. I don't think I have ever seen makeup with such precise moves. You would be very talented in painting cake decorations,"  he spoke kindly, with tone that was honest, and held earnest  encouragement of someone who had trouble holding pride in himself, but tried his best to give it to others.

[Mirach]

"You think?" Senecio asked thoughtfully. "I've never tried that. Maybe I could sometimes... Okay, if you are content with your makeup, who would like to go next?"

[VisAnastasis]

" Birdie is still busy being wary of the ice-cream," Melody grinned at him but lightly. " I can go next. "

[Mirach]

"Okay," Senecio smiled. "Gold and pink sounds good?"

[VisAnastasis]

" It sounds lovely. I have many pale blue and white dresses, so pink  shall be a nice change of pace," Melody agreed lightly. " I will be in your care, then. "

[Mirach]

"The shade of pink I have in mind would go well with either dress," Senecio said, and arranged the colors he was going to use. "You have very nice eyelashes, I have something special in mind with them..." He then focused on his art to create the design he imagined.

When Hans had shown her how she looks in the mirror, girl clapped her hands, her expression brightening up.
" You really have a good eye when it comes to prettying things up. I can see you really enjoy it,"  she, like Jake, gave a praise of her own. Her words held a light trace of worry and compassion, though. " I hope you will walk a flowery path from now on, little one. How about I reward you for this lovely work?" She smiled at him, speaking brightly " We still have a way to go, and the day is ripe for a song. Llyr, you do have a spare lute here on the boat, don't you?" She asked gracefully. " I want to sing you all a song in celebration of the good day we are going to have."

[Mirach]

"Thank you, my lady," Senecio bowed his head. Then you turned to Conrad. "Are you ready for an amazing look?"

Falcon snorted a bit with his comment.
" I already look amazing," he commented bemusedly, and indeed, his sheer confidence was not unfounded. " But anything that may make me look more fitting into my group, rather than big scary dog following cute kittens, would be interesting to see."

" But you are the  cutest among us," Melody giggled, watching him fondly and warmly, as he was sitting down in her former place. She herself took an available lute, sat down on the edge of the boat - and carried by the feelings of the moment, she began to sing a gentle lively song for people present, indeed, with sweetness and refreshing voice fit for a nymph, her warmth mixing beautifully with the song of the cold splashing water.

Senecio didn't even ask about the color scheme, as black just seemed natural. He listened to the song while he worked, and as he neared the end, Svarik and Tide were also done with the ice cream and Svarik leant to peek at his work.

First of all, before he had seen his reflection, Conrad sow Svarik peeking at him, and he smiled  lightly at him, relaxed, as if resting his eyes.
" What do you think, you curious little rascal?" He asked him daringly, with warmth in his gaze." On a scale from 1 to 10, from cute to hot, where do I stand?"

[Mirach]

Svarik grinned, hiding the mirror behind his back. "Very, very cute," he teased. "Positively fluffly and shiny. Do you want to see?" He showed Conrad the mirror. "Of course you're hot as hell..."

[VisAnastasis]

Conrad laughed more loudly and brightly with that teasing response than with anything before, leaning toward Svarik's face rather than the mirror, not looking at it innocently, but instead gazing rather closely at meadow king's eyes.
" Whether I'm cute or hot, you'll just never get flustered, will you? " he teased him himself, pinching his cheek as he did so. " But my, why would I ever use that dusty old mirror? I can see myself just as well in your positively shiny eyes, can't I?"
