Senecio adn Tide II

[Mirach]

Senecio didn't have a clear idea of what he wanted, but like a few pieces that were available in the shop, so they could use those as a starting point.

[VisAnastasis]

Hans inquired him if there's anything ready-made that he'd like for them to pick up right now, and if not, if he wanted to call furniture maker to get customizations he preferred, or if he'd prefer to see the other two luxury shops in the city before making the choice. Apparently, even though Senecio liked a few pieces already, he wanted to give him all the freedom and chances to choose what he liked best.

[Mirach]

Senecio agreed to see all options before making a final choice, at the end picking only one piece that fit his style and taste perfectly - a sleek black and white cabinet, and ordered the rest of the furniture to be made fitting with it.

[VisAnastasis]

Alpha dramatically waved towards the cabinet and made it disappear, bending towards him and disappearing presumably into separate dimension, after Hans paid for it, that is. While they were looking for Senecio's furniture, they also looked for some nice furniture for Janus and the children, to give to them as gift, so Hans bought and Alpha packed those with himself as well, so they could just take it with them back to their city.
" Is the furniture all you planned to get or is there more?" Alpha asked on as they exited the shop. " I know a cool higher end flea market where you can get lot of different fun trinkets, from jewelry over old books to cute seashells. Might be nice to get some interesting decorations, and get some colorful shells for Tide and Janus to snack on. Or we could just as well just swipe through all the most fun souvenir shops and refill our stocks of bling, that works, too. "

[Mirach]

Senecio chuckled. "Sounds good. Maybe a snack first, then the flea market. And are we going to get the carriage too?"

[VisAnastasis]

" There is a special carriage maker for nobility, where we can either get ready made carriges, or order something different. I wasn't aware you already have idea what you would like, but of course! " Hans grinned, clearly brightened up with idea he can get him something more." We can make it anyway you like, though it may be a good idea to get Eldergod family logo from the side, if.. hmm... You want to show off as a future heir and all," he coughed with a little redenned face, before he added." You don't have to, though. We can always leave it with no family crests so you can travel more incognito, as a wealthy merchant... Or, while it's not really a common occurrence, if you have any, I'll let you use Di Parvaio crest, if you are attached to it... "

[Mirach]

"I don't really have an idea what I'd like. I don’t particularly desire having a carriage, but I really like the idea as a statement. And for a statement, I imagine we just go there and tell them to give us their most expensive model. With both crests," Senecio said.

[VisAnastasis]

Hans seemed pleased Senecio is willing to accept his crest on the carriage too- Hans's happiness seemed to have a distinct flavour when bright, always having a recognizable smug triumphant chaotic energy to it.  
" Yes, sure! We can order it in your favourite colours, too! How does rich black with silver plated details sound? Or if you want expensive, we can get platinum plating, " He asked readily." If it's the statement, you shall get one damn expensive one. "
" Why just get an empty statement, when you can get more?" Alpha asked cunningly, rubbing his hands,  clearly, judging by his eager feelings, sensing a chance to make Hans happy too." I can enchant the carriage to be water proof, and I can have it defy the laws of physics tiny winsy bit, so wheels float perfectly on water, and we can have Tide turn to animal form so we can drive straight on water, like cool elite that we are. We can basically have magical family picnics and drive from mansion's door over land and sea and back, in one comfy wessel, instead of having to deal with all the pesky boats, coachmen and horses. Previously, we could not afford to draw attention, but with little Svarik as king, we can basically pass of everything as convoluted Bull's blessing and give all jealous humans a middle finger. "

[Mirach]

"Nice," Senecio smirked. "I'd still go with silver though, platinum feels too cold. And some pearl ornaments."

[VisAnastasis]

" It would look lovely!" Tide beamed, warmed up with the idea too, looking forward to it.
" How about instead of just most expensive, we order one of those fancy novel overprized models that has stairs and climbable flat roof with fancy reilings?" Alpha, who clearly was immersed deeply in culture of luxury, went on." That way, when we feel like it we can drive in luxury below, or, when weather is nice, we can climb up the stairs to the roof, and have on awesome view of sea from all sides as we go around the water. Best parts of both boat and carrige in one package, plus, it's hellishly expensive and envious when it's lavishly decorated, so you might as well call it personified middle finger, not just a mere statement, to the people that dislike our cute cream puff human. "

[Mirach]

"I didn't even know they made them like that," Senecio said. "Sure, let's get one!"

[VisAnastasis]

" Well, a life of the party that I am, I know all about the latest trends, so whenever you're looking for something special, modern and trendy, you know who to ask for advice, right? " Alpha pointed at himself, puffing up his chest proudly, as the hopping off his step grew lighter. " And you know what? Just because I'm extra nice, I'll get your carriage enchanted as I described for free! You just have to do me a teensy-weensy favour of calling me over for at least a couple of your family picnics. Doesn't that sound good for waterproof water walking carriage? I'll even add any visual decoration that you feel like on top of ones humans do! "

" It sounds like you're putting quite an effort to squeeze yourself in my new family life, aren't you? " Hans couldn't help but smirk a little, seeing Alpha's clear intent. The demon did not deny it, grinning and winking playfully.  

" Why, that's just so mean. You're literally a word away from calling me opportunistic, " he said innocently, but it was clear he figured out what the two crests on a carriage would mean, and he was savouring the new information. " I'm just a puny little star, hopelessly in love with the densest magnificent bastard in the world. As your future boyfriend, should I not take interest and spoil your kids rotten? " he said, and despite Hans didn't say anything, star demon was pretty pleased with himself, as Spirit's ears were quite red and he seemed unusually timid for someone so used to playful flirting - but rather, the actor had quite a clear impression Hans just felt rather flustered, but also pleased and validated that Alpha openly called Senecio his kid.

[Mirach]

Senecio smiled a little, observing the exchange between them. "So, are you going to make some announcement or are we staying in the assumptions territory for now?"

[VisAnastasis]

Hans, flustered from both sides, seemed unsure if Senecio meant on the announcement about his dating life or announcement about the adoption, so, stuck for a moment of what he should respond with first, his mind automatically went with the one easier to explain.
" Oh... You mean... Yes, of course, it is not like I planned to keep it a secret. I guess it is an opportune moment to say since it's obvious... But I've asked to adopt Senecio as my heir, and he said yes. We're just waiting for the best timing to go through with it. "
" What... obvious? " Tide who was a little slower to come to conclusion seemed taken aback for a second, but then, he brightened up as his face lit up with understanding, and he couldn't keep himself from it, and suddenly embraced the two, a little too strongly, for a moment, purring with excitement. " Oh, Hans, I didn't realize you were going to ask him so soon! I thought you said you waited for a high success rate chance or something like that. But to think you couldn't help yourself and ask right away... I'm really glad for you too! "
" Well, naturally, I am glad for you both, as well, " Alpha snorted with a touch of bewildered note at how his courting was evaded so casually, despite his earnest effort. Still, the gentleness in his expression was genuine, as he shrugged two pairs of his arms while crossing one dramatically. " It will be hard for me to pretend it's a surprise, though. Of course, I keep a close eye on people he's fond of. I saw it coming four light-years away. Naturally, as the future father of his kid, " he said nonchalantly, still with his same confidence, bigger than life attitude and belief in himself. " Who should congratulate you, more than me? To be honest, I would have settled for a decent kid too, but it's rather refreshing that we ended up with the cool fun kid instead. You have the look and smarts from Hans and the excellent tastes from me, so naturally, " he winked at him, just like Hans, clearly weaponizing the warmth he felt for the actor playfully, letting him be swept with it innocently, knowing it's overbearing on his delicate new senses. " Of course, it's no wonder you're so damn lovely, sweeping the best from both worlds so effortlessly."

[Mirach]

"Yeah..." Senecio murmured, pressing his temples. "I like you too, but I don't know if it's my liking or yours. You are so loud, all of you..."

[VisAnastasis]

" Ah, that's just too flattering, but nah, while I'd be willing to accommodate all possible requests, liking you less will be really hard right now, so we'll have to figure out an alternative, I'm afraid... "
" Yeah.... " Hans tied in, only half-jokingly. " I mean, perhaps if you didn't die, we could practice some moderation, but there is truth to say you don't know the true value of what you have until you lose it so, yeah... I'm pretty sure it will be impossible to be too quiet for a while. "
" Me too. I definitely am not good with staying quiet, " Tide was worried, trying to suppress the obvious vibrant joy with the adoption, struggle clearly visible on his face, as he was failing miserably.
" Shouldn't these days be perfect for you to practice being loud, then? " Alpha suggested, and then clapped his hands. " Alternatively, we can go down the more drama-filled route and have you hurt our feelings to snap us out of happiness? We can test it out. How about saying something rude, mean, unlikeable, or a combination of all? Perhaps it could work... "

[Mirach]

"Nope, I don’t want your hurt feelings all over me," Senecio said playfully. "How do I practice being loud though? If it's the same emotion I'm feeling, it just blurs together..."

[VisAnastasis]

" I guess Beings find it easier because we are more shameless about how we feel, " Alpha, who was least shy right now, responded playfully, glad to have a chance to talk to him casually like this. " Well, the easiest possible way would probably be to scream your feelings out loud, or just generally put your feelings more boldly into gestures. Tide's the real king of that, he's almost constantly speaking boldly of how he feels, and whether it's by hugging, carrying, or just, in general, waving his arms around when he's excited, he's just naturally as loud as they go. It's a truly a shining example of allowing your body to go through the motions. "
" Yes, but it's not like you have to, of course, if you're uncomfortable, " Hans rushed to say, and Alpha tied in readily.
" Of course, there is dozen of ways to be loud to the world, I'm just saying what works easiest first - if you let your feelings be expressed, you will feel more validated by yourself about them, usually. That's external training, but there's also an internal one. Quick example - let's say you really like apple pie. If you just eat it as it is, you may just savour the taste and not feel too special. But if you consciously focus on the texture, on smell, and try to savour each bite, and recall all the best memories eating that favourite pie, you'd get a warm and cosy feeling tied to good memories. It won't be a feeling of general happiness, but a feeling of happiness reinforced with good memories, stronger and more present and special. It's harder, but if you think of why you're happy at a given moment, as it brings forth happy memories that validate the feelings, you'll feel more secure in distinguishing your own happiness within the situation. "
" Being loud in the world... Is an unapologetic, fierce statement, " Hans added quietly in the end. " It is a way to give a middle finger to the world, and shamelessly assert your own will and choices as valid, against the apathy of the universe and other people. "
" Yes, " Alpha clapped his hand. " It's basically spitefully and fiercely yelling at the universe that wants to force you to be quiet to screw itself. We are all music, fighting against the silence of nothingness. It's just much more natural for us world's troublemakers to be a fun blazing chaotic party tune than a quiet struggling one. "

[Mirach]

Senecio nodded slowly and tried to focus for a while. But after a moment, he just shrugged and laughed. "You know, I just realized it doesn’t matter. If we're all feeling the same way, why discern? Like... in a choir that's singing the same song. You don't need to hear yourself to know what you're singing."

[VisAnastasis]

Alpha grinned approvingly of him.
" Look at this little rascal, procrastinating with the hard work with touching warm speeches... you even got a silver tongue on Hans, " he teased endearingly, with clear favour. " Well, who cares about hard work right now, when we're all on our way to live our best lives? Let's celebrate our awesome music talents and our near future new kid with some hell of a meal first, and a drink or two! "
" Yes, it may be good to pick some nice restaurant, " Hans chipped in with a light blush, admitting. " I do always have a jar or two of Senecio's favourite cookies and snacks packed, but since we already told you of our near-future plans, I feel like it calls for a little bigger meal, " he coughed to hide embarrassment, as he spoke words that clearly did not come lightly. " Let's go eat someplace nice, my future kid, future son in law and... future boyfriend. Just a nice little break for the four of us... "

[Mirach]

"Ah. now it makes sense," Senecio winked. "Always carrying snacks and warm clothes for me... a typical parent. Do you know any good restaurant nearby? It's already time for lunch anyway."

[VisAnastasis]

Hans blushed deeper, not being able to hide his flustered attitude when being called out like that, but by the bubbly, timid note in his expression and feeling, even though he shrugged innocently, Senecio could clearly tell he did not mind being called out.
" Well, I am guilty as charged, so I'll accept paying our bill totally for punishment, not because I want it to be my treat, " he cleared his throat, trying to get a hold of some composure, before slowly adding. " Hmm... well, there are a lot of choices, so it really depends what we feel like. There are good options with seafood and exotic delicacies on the main street, but there's also a bakery run by two nymph Being that has a lot of delicious goods with fun names, and there is always nice Being music, which is always a plus. "
" The restaurant we went out at last time, with instruments we can play ourselves was nice too, it is fun playing the piano every now and then, " Alpha suggested. " Or we can always just wing it and pass through the main street and just go by "going where nose takes you"  rule of thumb. "

[Mirach]

"Well, let's just find something nearby and see if we like the food," Senecio shrugged, not feeling too picky.

[VisAnastasis]

" Let's go through main street then, it has the best restaurants, so we shall just pick the place by eeny, meeny, miny, moe method," Alpha grinned, and took the lead. When they reached the main street, it was a vivid place full of people, and indeed, there were many good choices of places to eat from.

Senecio picked the first one that he liked the looks and smells of, and ordered a bottle of wine for celebration - not the most expensive one, but his favourite.
