Senecio adn Tide II

[VisAnastasis]

" Let's go for it! " Tide beamed, gathering the package carefully in his hand, and he wrapped it up again, with a grey ribbon, so Death could unwrap it like a present. He left the crown on his head, and he let the actor carry the mask, as they were all on the same floor and he knew he won't likely meet anyone in the hall.
Carrying the package eagerly, with Senecio at his side, they went to Tide's room, knocking on the door.

[Mirach]

Death was still asleep by then, but his sleep was already light and on the verge of waking, so the knock on the door awoke him fully, strartling him for a moment before he realized where he is. "Tide?" he asked cautiously.

[VisAnastasis]

" Of course it's Tide. " the demon replied readily, in his excitement not reading the caution of the tone. He did not enter yet, though, not without permission. " It's Tide and Senecio. It's so good that you're awake. May we come in? "

[Mirach]

Death relaxed slightly. "Yes, come in," he murmured. 

[VisAnastasis]

Demon entered actor following behind. He didn't seem to really remember he is getting in with crown and elegant dress and how it may look, despite before he was so excited to show how lovely he and Senecio look - now he was too distracted, eager to find out what Death things about clothes.

" Hi, Worth! We've got you something! " he said right away before he remembered he wasn't actually included in the equation and explained. " Oh, that is, I mean, Senecio got you something, I just sort of took over. " he snorted a little, turning to the actor. " Do you want to give it to him? It's really your present, after all, all I did was gush over it. "

[Mirach]

"No, it's fine," Senecio smiled. "I'm content to watch," he said, not wanting to step into Death's personal space.

[VisAnastasis]

" Oh, okay, thanks. " Tide grinned, glad, as he seemed to be enjoying this. " Hi Jake, hi Xia! It's good to see you all guys, I'm glad you were keeping Worth company! " he greeted them acting free before them, as both Xia and Jake, one being an unusual creature and the other seeing too much stuff to be scared, were not afraid of his face, and that helped him relax around them. He stepped toward them, holding out the box. " How are you doing? " he asked Death softly, now that he was closer, looking more aware of him and curious. " Do you feel well enough to check out the gift? I'd love to see if you like it, but I see you have cookies aside, I wouldn't like to interrupt you if you're eating... "

[Mirach]

"I wasn't eating," Death said. "I ate before and then slept for a while," he murmured.

[VisAnastasis]

" I see... It's good that you're resting up. Tide said slowly, seeing now Death seemed rather more withdrawn than when they left him and being more self-aware with that. " In that case, may I sat down? " he pointed at free space beside him, as Xia and Jake were at the other side. " I'd really love to see what you think of what Senecio got you. He really did a sweet job putting it together, so I was hoping it'd cheer you up... "

[Mirach]

"Alright," Death said quietly, propping himself on one elbow to see better.

[VisAnastasis]

Xia was quiet after their previous talk, she just raised the massive fluffy tail a little to help him prop himself better. Tide was more mindful when he had seen Death is so quiet but did not try to question him on it, to not make him all the wearier.
He sat on the edge of the bed, his flowy dress falling elegantly around him, and he smiled softly, before laying the wrapped package on the bed, in front of Death.
" It's a custom to tie the gift package with a pretty bow, so I made the nice bow for you... But don't worry, I know you have noodles for hands, " he whispered with smile, pointing at the spot where he could pull to open it in one move. " I loosened it up for you... "

[Mirach]

Death nodded, but first took a moment to look at them properly. "Is this your attire for the ball?" he asked. "Quite impressive..."

[VisAnastasis]

" Oh... yes. Thank you. " Demon blushed, as he seemed so focused on Death's gift that he forgot to brag. " I, I actually had sewn my own clothes, Senecio and Hans ordered theirs from a Being tailor we are friends with. That's actually one more thing I hoped to come. I have free time right now, so I was hoping to sew you and Xia something nice to wear at the ball too... I know you won't be removing the cloak, of course, but I'd still like you to feel nice below it. I thought it would be fun. "

[Mirach]

"I'm not sure I should go to a ball," Death said. "I'm not feeling very social..."

[VisAnastasis]

" I won't ask you to do so against your will... I would just like to go, and I'd like if you went with me. " Tide replied carefully. " Be honest - do you feel pressured because of my insistence? If yes, please, do feel free to decline, and we can figure out someone to keep you company. I just think... It would be better for you to be around people, after the play. Just not to feel all on your own. You don't have to dance, to talk to anyone. We can find you a nice remote corner, to just eat and process things. I can be social for us both. I hoped I could sing and play songs for you, Senecio, and others... I hoped to sing and play for everyone... "

[Mirach]

"If there's a remote corner where nobody will look at me, I guess I wouldn't mind," Death murmured. 

[VisAnastasis]

" There has to be, it's a ballroom. There's no fun in just dancing and not having a place to catch a breath. There'll be lot of food, and music, a lot of soft sofas and armchairs, or secluded little rooms, usually for couples, but you may take one if you need to. " Tide reassured him sweetly. " And you know Senecio, Svarik, Xia, me... If you feel like you don't want to be there, anyone of us can lead you to some more secluded room. It' a huge establishment, after all, remnants of the old kingdom of the sea, as it was before emperors arrived. They really had it for parties back then, it's the really lavish establishment, I've danced there dozen times, and it's beautiful, with wonderful clear marble floor that reflects light like it's made of ice, but soft dimmed light from lanterns all across the walls, in old archaic style, with swirls and curls. Big events don't happen all too often, but when they do, it's wonderful... "

[Mirach]

"I'm not too eager for palaces, but I'll go with you if I feel well enough for it," Death said.

[VisAnastasis]

" Yes, let's just forget about it for now, and decide when it comes to it, if you feel well enough, okay? For now, let's look forward to the present. Literally." Demon grinned, gazing at the box with anticipation." What do you say we open this package? There is really no need to think that far ahead when you think about it, heh. It's easy to just change plans as things change. We can always change plans if need be. It's okay."

[Mirach]

"Alright then," Death nodded and opened the package. "It's clothes?" he asked when he saw the grey fabric. 

[VisAnastasis]

" Yes, lightly enchanted ones. No strings attached, at least, not besides those in the seams. " Tide couldn't resist the pun. " It was Senecio's idea, and he made the deal for it and came up with all the details and everything," he explained proudly, glancing at the actor softly. " I just made an overly easy to open bow, hehe... I really would have made some cute exploding box with more lot of colourful bright ribbons, honestly, if it was for anyone else, but I figured you'd find the presentation to only distract from the content. So, there it is... "

[Mirach]

Death slowly pulled the clothes from the package, but he seemed a bit confused still. "I though you were going to borrow me your cloak... I don't want to reveal myself there..."

[VisAnastasis]

"  Those two things... are not connected. " Tide frown a little, seeming confused a bit himself. He leaned toward him with some concern " Are you... Worried that I would deny it to you? Oh, of course not. It is my wish that my cloak gives you more peace here. But this floor is private to me, and you are going to pick a room for yourself here, remember? I promised you your own room here on this floor, with privacy for you. You can pick any room you like. " He reminded him softly." And you should have nice things you can enjoy. The clothes have soothing spells embroidered into them, can you feel it? You can just wear them for you. And if you like, sometimes these days, we can go check some stores, so you can pick some nice things out to decorate the room you pick. What do you think? "

[Mirach]

"Okay... I wasn't sure why I would need new clothes if I just cover them with a cloak. They do look nice... Maybe I should try them on? Is that why you are all dressed up?"

[VisAnastasis]

" Well, we are dressed up for no particular reason other than it's enjoyable? We wanted to pick out what we'll be wearing tonight, and it was too fun, so we just stuck with it. " Tide explained with a grin. " Who cares that you'd cover them with a cloak? Just because they are concealed doesn't mean you can't have nice things, right? Do you want to try them, then? I can help you put them on, and Jake and Senecio could look around to find some nice mirror... " he suggested the way where the two of them could have some privacy in dressing up.
