Critter seemed indeed little more nervous with their larger group and second visit, as letting its soul touched by strangers was a feat not light - but it, indeed, seemed to have developed certain trust and respect for Svarik, and it let him treat her soul, at first tensely, but more and more freely with each moment.
Melody did not want to intrude before she was given a sign - she recognized Svarik is more suited to tell what Sea Deity needs, having played for it before. She just gave him encouraging smile, as if to tell him that she believed in him.
Svarik first calmed and soothed the critter with his song, helping it relax. One when he saw that the it's relaxed and ready, he gave a sign to Melody to join him, still continuing the gentle soothing song.
Only then, Melody joined in, and gradually gave his song new dept and power, underlying it with music of her own. Creature moaned with the unexpected wave of music, but it was gentle and tender, and it brought reassurement, so, slowly, Sea Deity opened up to it.
Melody underlined his music, working perfectly in tune with him, and making sure that the soothing scent of relief lingers upon the deep wounds so it may remain there for longer. The ancient creature of primordial sea was trembling vulnerably under the touch of their music, creating waves that Sage was discretely subsiding, and making earth tremble with it, but it lied down on the ocean bed obediently, breathing deeply, embracing the pleasure they have gifted upon it, for as long as they played - until it slowly, ever so slowly, fell into a deep healing slumber.
Vampire had grown close enough to him to not rely as much on formalities as once - and he gave himself freedom to catch him as he began to feel faint with sudden standing up, and he supported meadow king gently from a side so he wouldn't fall.
The shadowy creatures of the sea seemed to grow woried with his weakness, swirling around the water more quickly, with concern. Xia was also worried, licking his face, while Sage was helping Melody up.
" Are you alright, sire? " vampire whispered earnestly, not seeming to mind doing anything that would help, ignoring the pain of his still not fully healed hand. " Do you require my assistance? Would you like me to carry you home, or help you climb up Xia's back, sir? "
"Thans, I will ride on Xia. Melody was right, I don't have the strength to play that much with this diet... I fear I will need to change it, but I still have to talk with Xia about it first.
" If you think that's the best, sire... " Erdel told him, as he gently helped him climb up to Xia's back - but he could not quite hide joy from his neutral face, as, despite he didn't say anything before, he seemed relieved king will do what vampire deemed best for him.
Melody seemed less faint than him, but still in need of assistance - and, in his kindness, instead of burdening Xia with her, letting vampire and worried cook Jake focus on Svarik and support him from both sides, Sage himself took little sleepy Spirit in his arms, and he carried her gently and respectfully in his hands, all the way back to his welcoming home.
Sage nodded kindly to his request, and he went to Tide's room right away, or more technically, to library with Senecio where the two had been writing, so he could ask Tide to climb up to king's room for a talk.
Tide wrote around 50 pages for Erdel, but he wasn't finished, so he left them in library for now. He climbed up to Svarik's room, then, and amiably and warmly asked meadow king what he needs him for.
" Of course, my dear friend. I understand language barrier can do be difficult. I will translate all you need me to. " he said warmly, and after greeting with the young cook and nodding to Erdel and Melody, he sat down beside Xia, so they can all talk.
"It's about food again," Svarik sighed. "I promised her I will not eat meat together with her, but I found out it's not good for me. If I did that, I wouldn't be able to play for others that often, and I don't want to sacrifice that..."
" I figured it would probably be so.. Give me a moment, please. I will explain to her. " Tide said amiably, and Xia took on form of a fox child, understanding it's time for talk, and talked, they did, for a moment.
After Xia understood the problem, she grew more thoughtful for a moment, before she turned to Svarik.
"Uncle... Needing... food... Xia.. Understanding..." she said then quietly, apparently connecting Cernunnos's weakness to Svarik's. " Svarik... needing... food... too. Svarik eat. Xia.... understanding. " she told him on sign language quietly, wanting to show him her support, as she too, seemed to doubt that something was wrong with his nutrition, feeling Svarik weak in last two days, and it seemed she was already suspecting this was to come.
