"I could just get the medicine I need from the rest itself, without the need for anyone's touch..." Svar murmured. "It would be easier that way..."

[VisAnastasis]

" Animal that is injured and lies down in a warm corner may get better on its own, but you're not an animal. You're my Semai. Even animal, I'd treat better, than you expect me to treat you. " Falcon replied quietly, understanding creature little more clearly now, through their connection, once he opened up to it a little. " You don't want corruption to touch you... But you're fearful of anything else touching you too. It might as well be, that what Vein had gone through has made it all the fear and dread come back to you both, with renewed strength.... What kind of Semai would I be, if I'd just let you curl in a corner without care that'd help? What scares you the most, in my suggestion? "

[Mirach]

"The song of a Singer..." Svar murmured. "That's not like touching... that's like someone reaching *into* your body. Someone you just met, even..."

[VisAnastasis]

" I know I ask much from you. ..But I think you need it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you keep losing yourself in music of the Vein for comfort... it may be numbing to your thoughts, but it's music of the land still, neutral music. Not a music tailored to help. It's all the music, of everything both kind and violent there is, of our world in its passion... but it's not a healing music. It's not music meant to help you deal with your feelings. " Falcon noted quietly. " I think you need help. Besides.. Didn't you... notice that, to his power, White retreated from you? His presence is quite faint here, fainter than anywhere in the city, ever since he holds grudge with you. But once we open the gate, he'll have to reach out to it, all the time, no brake. He'll be tight packed to the Vein all the time, his presence leaning right against you... Even if you sleep, if you aren't properly prepared before, it won't be pleasant rest,to feel like that, touched by someone while  unused and fearful of touch. Your essence is now chaotic and massive... Zephir can, from all of us, reach with his song into you the deepest. He stands best chance to help the most... Only one who may be able to reach you deeper, would be Tide, but his power is used better in soothing and guiding others and to do their best, than doing it himself - he's more interested in taking helping role, than taking leading stance on things...  "

[Mirach]

"I would like that better," Svar said. "I do not need a Singer. I have all the music I need, it just needs to be shaped and directed properly. I do not need anyone to add more.music to it, but some guidance on the process would be helpful, I guess..."

[VisAnastasis]

" I want you to be open to both possibilities, but as long as I know most that can be done is done... I can accept that... " Falcon said slowly." If you will really give Tide a chance, an honest one. When would you like to meet him?"

[Mirach]

"If my choice is between a demon and a Singer, I will pick the demon, if he really bears no corruption..." Svar murmured. "I will be here if he wants to come."

[VisAnastasis]

" I do not understand why a demon is safer choice to you than Singer, but may it be." Falcon replied, giving up a little sadly." Should he come on his own, or should I be here when he comes? He is on a date outside in the city tight now, but he may want to come afterwards..."

[Mirach]

"You said you will be here in case I need to borrow your reasoning skills..." Svar reminded him

[VisAnastasis]

" I said I will, and I will, if you want me to, I just wanted to make sure you want that still.  " Falcon murmured, and gave a tired little meek smile, as he bid quietly. " So... You agreed to my conditions... What now? "

[Mirach]

"I don't know..." Svar murmured. 

[VisAnastasis]

" Do you want me to leave, then? " Falcon asked quietly. " Or do you want me to stay? Is there... nothing you wish  to speak of to me? "

[Mirach]

"I don't want to speak. But I would like staying like this a little longer..." Svar said.

[VisAnastasis]

Falcon thought of the request, as he glanced at the little bird at their feet. It was frightful and tense, with what it perceived as their silence. Compelled by Falcon's mind, Semai spoke.
" Can you return to our king, please? " he bid it quietly, seeing it is tense. " Someone should keep him company so he isn't alone with his thoughts... I'm going to join you soon, I'm just going to stay like this a little bit longer... "
Bird hesitated, but its mistrust in the world was stronger than its curiosity-  and as bid, shyly, it turned to fly away.

[Mirach]

Svar remained silent in their mind, but it seemed he enjoyed the state they were in.

Svarik was waiting in the carriage. "What happened? Where is Falcon?" he asked, alarmed when hr saw Zephir returning alone.

[VisAnastasis]

Falcon remained with him, and surprisingly, it seemed Falcon's mind was rather quiet, too, this once - he seemed to be somehow exhausted, his anger spent, and only leaving place for some melancholic faint lonileness.

" Your.. other self.. got a bit alarmed, sir king, when.. when we told him about our intentions.. Nothing I could say would calm him. " Zephir was tense anew, knuckles on hand on which he held cane turning white with his grip - it seemed he felt he was stuck between two fires,looking a bit as if he was about to cry and suppressing it. " I'm s-soorry. I tried my best, I really did. Everything is okay... Sir Falcon just decided... had to bind with him as Semai in the end anyway, so he could talk it out with him... "

[Mirach]

"So they are still talking?" Svarik asked, calmed with that. "Are you alright? Was that other half of me... nasty to you? he asked hesitantly.

[VisAnastasis]

" N... No.... " Zephir stuttered slowly, almost instinctively, biting his lip. He was all too ready to deny it to not upset king, but he grew little fearful that lying to king may carry bad consequences, so he danced around it. " I mean... It's just the nerves, sir king. I'm alright, I'm just not used to going to second layer anymore, and... I tried all I could, but he must had been tense because I was... a stranger, yes. I think Sir Falcon's the only one whose words he'll trust, when it comes to dealing with demons and all... "

[Mirach]

"That's quite possible," Svarik said kindly. "He is confusing to myself even, even though he used to be me... Would you like an apple pie?"

[VisAnastasis]

That was unexpected question, indeed, to the your man, that confused him for a moment, enough to ease the fears - but it was also charming one, a drastic change in tone, from the suspicious unpleasant interrogation from king's other half. Highlander smiled slowly and nodded timidly.
" I would...I'd  like to sit down, if, if I can... Too... " he brought himself to bid shyly, glancing at free place beside meadow king  - it must had been painful for him to stand too long, and he appeared little frailer in health after straining, as he was still getting used to the limitations of first layer after freedom of the second.

[Mirach]

"Oh, are you standing because of me?" Svarik asked. "Don't do that... I mean, sit down, please. You have, like, a permanent permission, alright? You don't need to ask..."

[VisAnastasis]

Zephir's initial fearful response seemed to slowly be eased with it.
" Still.. Still, I feel that to assume without ask, it'd be willful, and... improper.. If it's okay, I'd like to keep asking.... " he suggested shyly, as he, slowly and carefully  not to appear hasty, sat down on the free place, putting his cane aside and shifting to a more comfortable sitting position with some relief he tried not to make a big deal out of.

[Mirach]

Svarik nodded, and gave him a piece of the pie, not bothering him with questions anymore.

[VisAnastasis]

It seemed that, with little kindness and care, and without stress of being the center of unpleasant attention, Highlander beamed a little, feeling safer in warm place of the carriage they waited in. He ate with some more freedom, and he seemed more relaxed as he came here, as if he felt more welcome and accepted in Svarik's company.

[Mirach]

Svarik was also nibbling on a pie, a bit lost in thought as they waited.
