"I am not interested in him, but you are right... he is a demon like you, and charming... a whole package, while I am not..." Senecio said quietly. "He said that he is not interested in you in that way, but what if he changes his mind?" he asked, feeling insecure about himself just like Tide did, especially after Tide described Erdel in that way.

[VisAnastasis]

Tide seemed to grow a little conflicted for a moment - but not for the reason that would first come to mind.

" I will have to be honest to you... I did ask him if he was... available... when I met him. It was before I met you.  He was... he was just so kind to me, and I, um, I am sucker for kindness, you know? It's just so attractive to me. " He seemed embarased. " But he said no, and that was all between us, nothing more, you have to believe me! If he would change his mind, I would apologise to him and tell him I am sorry, but I am in comited relationship with you..." he said fervently. " I would never cheat on you.  I don't want to be with someone for whom I was only second choice, a participation reward... I want to be somebody 's preffered, first choice..." he gulped, ading vulnerably with actor's own words. " That is why it's still so hard for me to believe you really want this.... want me. It's hard for me to believe it, when you courted so many beautiful people, and could had been with anyone.. equal to you..."

[Mirach]

"I did not exactly court them for romantic reasons..." Senecio murmured. "You are the first with whim I really mean it. You are wise and kind, and uniquely beautiful... You are my first and only choice. It's me who's more like participation reward, am I not? Because Erdel said no... I am not kind like him. I'm selfish. My only positive is being handsome, and I'm not an immortal demon. I will get old and I won't be handsome anymore... But I don't want any promises that you might regret later. I don't want to think about it, I just want to enjoy this while it lasts..."

[VisAnastasis]

" I don't want to enjoy it *while it lasts. *. I don't want anything fake or temporary. I want love passionate and unqueationable. I dream of a marrige - and of its promise of devotion, true and unyelding, as long as I live, and as long as my partner lives. Ethernal love.  That is my dream." Tide replied, speaking as fervently and fearlesly as he always did, when speaking of love." Why would it matter, how many people I  asked, when none said *yes*?  I want to love you, from this moment forth, till you are grew old, and then forever. You will always be handsomest to me.  " demon whispered sadly. " I want to lay my heart bare, and risk it all, if it shall bring me to my dream. I thought... I was getting a feeling that you maybe wanted it too... or do you really not think it will last?" He bit his lip. " Do you not... like me, as I like you? Don't you want to share my dream? "

[Mirach]

Senecio smiled, more with his eyes than lips, reassured that Tide would not dump him for someone nicer. "I want that, very much..." he whispered. "I was just afraid that I am not good enough for you. Maybe it's a silly fear, but it's real. I will try not to worry though... Just like you don't need to worry when I'm with Erdel or someone else. And I will work on being kinder and not that selfish, like Erdel is..."

[VisAnastasis]

" I would like us, to grow together as a couple... but I don't want you to feel pressured to become anyone else. It is not Erdel whom I am dating, but Senecio. You don't have to wear Erdel's face that beams with kindness to earn my affection. You just need to wear face of Senecio , who beams every time he looks at me.... " demon smiled vulnerably. " From where I stand, tthat actor was always kind to me, and he is a pretty cool guy..." demon whispered, and, trying to work by actor 's instructions of not asking permissions for everything, he hesitantly and shyly reached for him with his gentle hand, and caresed his hair softly.

[Mirach]

Senecio needed a bit more as a reassurance at the moment though. "May I?" he whispered, opening his srms slightly to suggest an embrace.

[VisAnastasis]

" Only if you want to... " demon said shyly, and he opened his arms hesitantly, in an inviting gesture of a hug, making pretense motion as if embracing someone. " If you do, I am just going to pretend I am hugging the sweetest Findling in existence, until he materialize right around here..."

[Mirach]

Senecio chuckled quietly, and stepped into Tide's embarace, finding reasurance in it.

[VisAnastasis]

Critter embraced him tightly, almost taking him out of breath and raising him a little above ground with his hands. He was breathing in his scent, as if closeness, simple and earnest, was helping him find some reassurance in his insecurities of last long few hours.

[Mirach]

Senecio was content to stay so, suddenly wishing to fall asleep in Tide'e embrace. After a while he remembered that Erdel waits for him though, and sighed as he withdrew a little. "I'm sorry, I still need to finished the present for the king..." he said apologetically. "We didn't have time to do yet because of the misunderstanding, and Erdel is waiting for me with it..."

[VisAnastasis]

Tide seemed to calm a bit by now. He noded, accepting actor 's explanation.
" If you say it is just a gift.. I will trust you. I am sorry for doubting you. I did not intend to, but you said you will go shoping, and shops were ong ago closed." He apologized, slowly lossening up the embrace and putting actor safely on ground." So..  You argued?" He inquired carefully then, a bit of his shy concern showing up, as his face fell in sadness." Was it that bad?"  

[Mirach]

Senecio just nodded. "I told you, I am selfish," he said quietly, not willing to reveal more about the quarrel, not onl because he was uncomfortable with it, but it would also mean revealing the present.

[VisAnastasis]

Tide's face saddened with suspitious strange answer, but heeding his promise to be mindful, he still smiled a little.
 " You don't want to tell me? Oh, well, you will learn soon enough dishoneaty does not pay off." he whispered, trying to speak a joke, through little  anxious. " If you won't tell me what happened, I am going to ask Erdel and learn only his side of the story, and then judge you tthrough his eyes forever and ever. You will bring it al upon yourself.  " He said innocently.

[Mirach]

"I'm just tired and don't feel like talking about it right now," Seecio said. "We can talk about it tomorrow, alright?"

[VisAnastasis]

" Seal it with a kiss, and we can call it a deal..." Tide said innocently, as he breathed out beside actor's ear with a bit of bathed  breath, a bit like teasing him, a bit tempting him.

[Mirach]

Senecio shivered a little with that, with longing that he immediately put into a kiss, enjoying the taste of Tide's lips and forgetting Erdel again for the moment.

[VisAnastasis]

The passionate kiss, more than hug, seemed to reassure Tide of actor's honest affections, and from troubled, after a moment, his expression grew elated with softness and warmth. He ended a kiss only slowly, tenderly.
" That's a very... good seal. " He grinned, and then added more affectionately, in encouragment." I hope you will make the sweetest little gift for meadow king. Do your best, dear... but try to have a little fun while making it with Erdel, okay?" He said shyly. " I would really like you to get along... and if you talked through some unpleasantries, then some fun should be a good balm for it... try it for me, please, if you can?"

[Mirach]

"I will try," Senecio nodded. "I think as well that it would be good if we want to get along...:

[VisAnastasis]

" I really want to befriend and menthor him. He is a gem. He could be one of the Great ones, if he lives. If I live, I wish to menthor him to adulthood. Besides, he is gem of a person. He deserves more nice friendships." Critter admitted shyly. " If you don't get along, it would be very hard and awkward for us all. Try to be kind to him, okay?"

[Mirach]

"I will try," Senecio promised, and hurried to his room where Erdel waited for him.

[VisAnastasis]

Vampire in meantime got all their things brought and put them on table, not touching anything, waiting quietly for him.

[Mirach]

"Sorry I'm late," Senecio said. "Let's make it great," he said with new enthusiam for the present, after being reminded for whom it is.

[VisAnastasis]

Erdel nodded hesitantly, with a bit of a smile. With little grin he raised a piece of paper on which he had written something. * Just don't forget to speak in codes, so Tide wouldn't get surprise spoiled if he is listening. * He raised the card, and winked a bit, in measured attempt of friendliness, but attempt honest, still.

[Mirach]

Senecio nodded, and winked back. He sat down across Erdel. "Let's sort the ingredients first," he said, and started arranging the shells and sweets that would go well together in shape.
